Need a Democrat in this race

While Martin McLaughlin embraces his record of many accomplishments as a pension expert, municipal president and prior small business owner, Dan McConchie runs away from his record.

Amazingly, no one on this blog is asking why?

Most recently Dan McConchie removed from his LinkedIn that he is a [Springfield] “Lobbyist” and on the Daily Herald Questionairre left the space next to “occupation” “blank”.

The Proft-Walsh strategy surrounding the coronation of Dan McConchie (straight from the David Axelrod “playbook”) blanket 26th District voters with “feel good” political vaguaries and slogans describing Dan McConchie but norhing about specifics concerning Dan McConchie’s prior work experience and achievements.

Walsh-Proft and even Dan McChonchie knows specifics about him would doom his campaign, especially when compared to the impeccable credentials of Martin McLaughlin.

This same strategy is being employed by the Joe Walsh walking automatons, one of which recently blogged on this site when descriging Dan McConchie: a “conservative”, “fighting the good fight”, and that she did her “homework” on Dan McConchie without saying anything more.

No specifics about his work record, education or financial and pension expertise.

Rather, when it comes to Dan McConchie readers are being fed the same political pap which some of you may have fallen for when packaged in the form of “hope and change” and all that jazz. Similar to the recent Joe Walsh tripe on how we all need to be “angry” and on and on . . we, Republicans are supposed to be smarter than this . . .

To date, it is readily apparent this blog has acquiesed to McConchie’s “Axelrod” strategy by neglecting to post the “policy” this self described “policy maker” advocate{d} and what specifc credentials Dan McConchie possesses to hold the IL State Senate seat.

Other than being coronated by the political operatives of Dan Proft and Joe Walsh; it appears nothing, they know it, they know I know it, but they do not want you to know it.

It is interesting the author of this blog knowingly allowed a “has been” politician and current ax grinding Prince of Darkness of Barrington Hills to prevaricate about Martin McLaughlin’s record as village President by allwoing this vindictive viper to post a misleading missive about Martin McLaughlin but neglects to provide blog readers with the simple “basics” about Dan McConchie.

I learned from running for McHenry County Board that politics in McHenry County is an insiders game where the Joe Walsh contingency currently controls the game.

Thus, a candidate like Martin McLaughlin an outsider trying to do good no matter how highly qualified, because he is not their candidate has to play on a tilted field in favor of the chosen one. While Walsh-Proft may be fooling those in McHenry County who choose not to look, they are not fooling those on the outside who are looking including almost all organizations who are endorsing Martin McLaughlin as hands down the best qualified of the candidates for this IL Senate seat.

I anticipate as McConchie spends further Proft money on polling showing Martin McLaughlin in the lead, that negativity on this blog against Martn McLaughlin will intensfy probably to the point where blog readers might just see Act II from the Prince of Darkness of Barrington Hills while continuing to see no specifics about Dan McConchie other than the general “tripe” readers have been subjected too thus far.

Perhaps this is an oversight by the author of this blog who I like and admire and will soon expand on the few “dots” McConchie has provided to the extent readers will discover who Dan McChonchie “is” and we can make an informed decision when pulling the voting lever on facts rather than spin and empotion.
