  1. Interesting…thanks for posting. Both Paul and Dan Wilbrandt got the endorsement of this conservative group.

Ratings from organizations are helpful. Especially when candidates and politicians say they are for one thing like…”I fight for small businesses!” And then their ratings come out and they rank among the lowest in the state.

Democrats are the worst at spinning this tale.

  2. yes, but are they “McHenry County Conservative” where real estate taxes exceed 3% of home values and County is ranked 19th highest taxed for homeowners in the United States. In otherwords, a cheap word which means nothing to a discerning voter.

For instance, are we talking: “Goldwater Conservative”, “Reagan Conservative”, “Neoconservative”, “commonsense conservative”, “compassionate conservative”, “McHenry County Consrvative”, “Tea-Party Conservative” or just a “Conservative-Conservative”.

It is the facts that matter, not cheap labels.

I can line up 10 voters and they would all have different definition of word “conservative”; it has no meaning, at least uniform meaning.

As for McChonchie, we still nothing about him other than he recently deleted the word, “Lobbyst” from his “LinkedIn” and publicly claimed at Lake County event that his connections with friends [lobbyists] in Sprngfield and legislators provides him a great advantage over the other candidates.

Yet, the author on this blog says he read that McConchie has only been to Springfield once.

As an informed voter, I knew more about O’Bama’s background and life’s accomplishments when he was running for public office than I do about Dan McChoncie’s.

It is troubling this blog and commentors are not demanding more specifics about Dan McChoncie’s education, work experience, accomplishments, skill-set and proposed solutions for Illinois’ woes.

You have to wonder why Dan Proft is throwng so much money at Dan McConchie but has spent none of his money extolling Dan McConchie’s credentials.

Could it be he has none or the credentials Dan McConchie possesses does not fit the job description for Illinois State Senate.

Maybe that is why using a scale with the word “Conservative” without any specifics works for this endorser, because they know somewhere along the way voters have stopped thinking and demanding specific information instead, accepting the world of soundbites and labels . . . .

    “Change and Hope” anyone?

  3. Illinois lobbyists must register with the Illinois Secretary of State.

For those interested in whether he registered, the information should be available.

  4. I am finding that a lot of these endorsements can skewed by personal opinion, relationships, and other factors.

Not always coming up with the best people and true pro lifers.
