Thomas Cahill New Lawyer in State’s Attorney’s Office

MCHENRY COUNTY STATE’S ATTORNEY’S OFFICE WELCOMES NEW CIVIL ASSISTANT STATE’S ATTORNEY, THOMAS P. CAHILL

Louis A. Bianchi, McHenry County State’s Attorney, is pleased to announce that Thomas Cahill has joined the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office as an Assistant State’s Attorney in the Civil Division effective February 29, 2016.

Cahill brings a diverse 20-year background of legal experience as a prosecutor, a criminal defense attorney, a corporate in-house lawyer, and a civil attorney for defendants and plaintiffs in personal injury cases, business disputes and construction cases.

Prior to his career as an attorney, Cahill was employed as a police officer from 1982 to 1991, working as a tactical officer in the Uptown area of Chicago, Illinois.

Cahill received a Juris Doctor in 1996 from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, and a Bachelor of Science in political science in 1992 from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois.
