State Rep. candidate Carolyn Schofield and McHenry County Board candidate Cameron Hubbard have linked their campaigns with a joint door hanger, which you can see below:
The math in the two contests are different.
If the ballots are split evenly, Schofield can win with something over 25%, because there are four candidates running for State Rep.
With three running for County Board, Hubbard probably needs more than 33%.
Pro abortion and pro union, disqualifies both of them.
To be clear no special interest group is foolish with their money.
A 54k money drop to Carolyn from the teacher’s union screams they know… KNOW, mind you… Carolyn will be a general election candidate and likely winner.
54k is a general election money drop, not a primary money drop.
This is scary to anyone who actually knows anything about Illinois politics.
This means Carolyn is a Democrat, perhaps Blue Dog looking for a home outside of a socialist Democratic Party, but a Democrat nonetheless and she will endorse, promote and vote for Democrat initiatives.
This money drop makes her candidacy and likely win horrifying to those looking for reform in Illinois government.
If McHenry County can’t hold the line this state is in deep trouble.
Downstate is deep red but is losing population faster than the suburbs while Chicago gains population.
Downstate used to hold the line but now it is up to the collar counties to fight the coming storm.
Single party rule has ruined this state.
Pockets are surviving and thriving but Illinois is bleeding arterial blood.
We are not decades from death but years.
Maybe Susan is right.
The death of Illinois will be her resurrection into a better day but for people who hate the thought of a dead state and believe we can pull it together the time has arrived for the serious people to win.
McHenry County needs a meeting between the three other candidates in this race to determine how best to defeat Carolyn.
She was a joke.
With this money drop she has turned the corner into controlled fool who will let the nightmare’s out from under the bed through her total meltdown ignorance.
