The following television ad financed by Dan Proft’s Liberty Principles Political Action Committee played on Channel 7 three times from 5 to 7 on Monday night.
Twice during local news and once during Wheel of Fortune.
That’s what a $63,070 buy will get you on WLS-TV.
“Fiasco” is the key word in the beginning of the ad.
The word “Fiasco” comes from the Northwest Herald editorial.
The Northwest Herald editorial comments are followed by ones in the Chicago Tribune editorial, which endorsed Allen Skillicorn.
Then, the TV ad jumps back to the Northwest Herald’s evaluation of Carolyn Schofield.
This slide plays the Mike Madigan card. It implies that Carolyn Schofield will be on his side on key votes.
Dan Proft next uses a McHenry County Blog image to show that Carolyn Schofield was endorsed by the teachers’ union that goes by the name “Illinois Education Association.”
The massive $53,900 contribution from the teachers’ union is shown on this slide.
Closing out the television ad is a question with the word “fiasco” in it: “Don’t we have enough fiascos in Springfield?”
The final slide shows that Liberty Principles PAC paid for the ad and urges, “On March 15th Vote No on Carolyn Schofield.”
