The post card that arrived Thursday was about three-quarters of the size of the one that came the day before. The address side has James Cowlin's name large enough to read. The message--that he was the only candidate recommended by the Bar Association is much smaller.

Details of the Bar Association rating comparison are presented in teeny-tiny type on the back of James Cowlin's latest post card. His endorsement by the Chicago Tribune is presented in a bit larger, but still hard to read type.

  1. THE best man, already doing the job he was assigned to do by the court downstate.

Not ONE good reason to replace him. Leave him on the bench for a full term.

Then,if he messes up, the voters can vote to NOT RETAIN him at that time.

The lawyers who appear before him respect him, and his ability as a fair jurist.

I know several attorneys, and all think he is fair and honest.

    Vote for JUDGE Cowlin.

  2. The people need to vote him out he has been on the gravy train long enough.

    Vote Demetri

  3. Yes, Erika. Vote him off the gravy train and put Demetri onto the gravy train- makes all the sense in the world. No one is sure either what part of the old guard Dum Dum is referring to either- The many years in Divorce Court or his few years in traffic and misdemeanor trial court? She claims to have appeared in his court before- I’m wondering in which one she lost?

  4. AZsupporter, you better get your facts straight before you speak. I have never appeared before Cowlin for anything. Your’e the one that has admitted to seeing those imaginary black helicopters that don’t exist. Apparently, you don’t know the difference between reality and your imaginary world of make believe helicopters.

By the way, Demetri won’t be riding any gravy train.

  5. Gravy train is a gravy train- doesn’t matter who’s on it, if you follow your logic Erika.

And Dum Dum, YOU’RE the one who said you’ve been in Judge Cowlin’s court and have seen how he operates, not me.

Apparently you and I are both ASSUMING, eh?

  6. WOW! INTERESTING MARTIN!

Martin apparently, knows a lot about on “how to find public and private information from a computer yields” the desired result.

Northern Illinois Investigations is an Illinois Licensed Private Detective Agency. I am Martin Coonen (IL Lic. # 115.002483). In addition to being a licensed private detective, I have been an attorney since 1984. I served in the U.S.Navy, on active duty from 1984-1988, and on reserve duty until 2001, with a discharge rank of Lieutenant Commander. I later served in the Peace Corps (Paraguay, South America) from 2005-2007.

My investigations combine my legal knowledge and wide range of professional and life experience in problem-solving. Sometimes this calls for old-fashioned methods, while other times knowing where and how to find public and private information from a computer yields the desired result.

I am available to conduct investigations in a variety of situations, including:

    1. Finding family members, including birth parents.

    2. Acting as intermediary in post-adoption information exchanges.

    3. Investigation in litigation, including divorce and child custody.

    4. Document and discovery review in litigation.

    5. Internet investigation.

    6. Witness interviews and evidence collection.

  7. Will Demetri refuse to board the “Gravy Train” and work for free?

Even if he does, do you want someone deciding important matters for this County and State who is unqualified just because he is cheap?

Cowlin is the right guy for the job.

He has tried cases from both sides of the bench, knows how to be a judge, and does an excellent job.

  8. Of course I am on the list.

I support the candidates that I think ought be there.

I put my money where my mouth is.

You hide behind an silly screen name.

Tell us who you are and what corruption you have fought?

Or are you in fear of being exposed as a tool for Demetri and his goofball campaign manager.

Maybe if you spent anytime in a McHenry County courtroom you would know that Demetri has not and Cowlin has.
