  1. $500k spent on Skillicorn for a state rep race.

    That just sickens me.

If he wins it proves that IL continues to go down the wrong path and buys it’s elected officials no matter if they are qualified or not.

If he loses if will be a sad waste of money when you think of the good that money good have done for homeless or others.

I hope people stay away from Skillicorn for many reasons, but this is crazy.

  2. Scarier still is $54,000 from the states largest lobby against pension reform going to none other than Carolyn Schofield!

  3. Patrick Henry has the correct observation.

Schofield would support a continuation of the pension problem but at least Skillicorn would work to end it.

  4. I agree that Skillicorn will work to end the pension problem.

I can only hope he wins.

  5. After having a discussion with Carolynn I can tell you that she thinks that we need to negotiate with the unions.

    Start to have a conversation.

Well that “coming to the table” should of happened 10 years ago when everyone knew that this was a huge problem.

Now that we are here in a dire situation they decide that its time to negotiate?

    Please.

We eeed to destroy collective bargaining.

    That is the only answer.

  6. I believe the internet and other electronic communication technology is the great equalizer but my theory will be put to the test in the election for IL State Senate in the 26th District where Highly qualified candidate Martin McLaughlin spent less than 1/2 of lobbyist, fundraiser and Proft PAC supporter Dan McConchie and brother of football legend, Casey Urlacher.

It would be a great loss to Illinois if pension expert, Village President and small business owner Martin McLaughlin lost.

  7. Inish – $400 from a PAC absolutely scares me, but this PAC was partially funded by Rauner, so I get it.

BUt, I think they should have considered backing the other conservative in this race.

But, Carolyn is unquestionably an abomination to government and the so-called Republican party.

Her efforts on the Crystal Lake City Council, MC County Board and the many lies she has been telling, trumpet the fact that she will do no good for Illinois.
