Below is a list of counties where board members might have problems similar to those facing McHenry County Board members if someone like State Rep. Jack Franks raises the issue.
I would imagine that in Democratic Party-controlled counties a Republican might bring up the question.
Similarly, in counties controlled by the Republican Party, someone like Jack Franks might make a complaint.
Then, the local county board members will go to their legislators, as it seems some have in McHenry County, and those legislators will tell them it’s Jack Franks’ fault.
From my legislative experience, I would imagine that a coalition would be formed to make the problem go away.
Here are the counties where legislators might expect to be involved:

Can’t wait for someone to take on St, Clair County!!!!
I am waiting for Allen’s comment on Kane County
I’m waiting for somebody with a good mouth piece to start a petition drive against pensions and healthcare for our county board members.
Don’t you just love the way Republicans give the Democrats ammunition to use against Republicans?
Nob, you do a lot of “waiting.”
Why not jump in and do something???????
