Attempt at Huntley Child Abduction?

We are investigating a suspicious incident that occurred on March 30, 2016, at approximately 3:22 p.m., in the area of Fenwick Ln. and Hadley Dr., in the Talamore Subdivision.

Two 12 year old children were approached by a male white in his 40s described as 5’10 to 6’00, wearing a dark ball cap with red hair and a short grey beard, driving a dark grey or black newer SUV with scratches on driver’s door.

The male offered the children toys and exited the vehicle.

The children ran from the area and were unharmed.

The Huntley Police have increased patrols in the area and are asking anyone with information to contact the Huntley Police Department at 847-515-5311.

    When it comes to anything other than “revenue enhancement activities” the HPD have proven themselves to be somewhat unreliable.

    Same thing happened about a month or so ago in another subdivision, nothing reported on the matter since.
