Democratic Party Tea Leaf?

Reading political tea leaves is something that lots of people do.

This was passed on by a couple of McHenry County Board members.

They noticed former two-term McHenry County Board member Paula Yensen in the audience at Friday’s meeting about next year’s budget.

Yensen was defeated for re-election when Republicans swept the board two years ago.

Since then the wife of Democratic Party Chairman Mike Bissett has returned to the Lake in the Hills Village Board, the place she started her political career.

The thought of the County Board Republicans who conveyed the information about Yensen’s presence was that she might end up being slated by Democrats to run for McHenry County Board Chairwoman against Mike Walkup.

  1. Maybe she was there gathering information for Mr. Bisset-Yensen?

  2. Cal you are a sack of pooh.

If we are going to vote a democrat in why not vote one who is not afraid of saying they are one.

Unlike the current establishment who voted a democract to represent the Republican Party as the first chairman what a real joke this county is lol ahhhhhhhhhhh

  3. Actually, Pablo, When Yensen ran, unsuccessfully, for county board, in 2014, none of her literature or signs in any way depicted her as a Democrat.

  4. If the Libertarian Party ever wants to become relevent in this county, this race is the best opportunity they will ever get.

Even the most hardcore Republicans that I know would love to have the chance to vote for someone else.

  5. Ah Pablo, intelligent comments from you as always.

Hope your children get potty trained soon so perhaps we don’t have to listen to toddler speak anymore.

Thank you Cal for bringing this information to the forum for those that weren’t there.

  6. Just heating up my popcorn to watch the show… should be entertaining.
