A coalition including the McHenry County League of Women Voters is trying to get enough signatures to put a reapportionment alternation amendment to the Illinois Constitution on the ballot this fall.
The man whose photo you see here has been at the Crystal Lake train station collecting signatures.
Meanwhile local Democratic State Representative Jack Franks is trying to alter his image in the reapportionment game.
He is sponsoring a Constitutional Amendment that would remove himself from the very active role he played in drawing his own district lines after the 2000 and 2010 U.S. Census.
