Jack Franks Still Running for State Rep. – Part 4

There is a bit irony in this campaign hit piece against Jack Franks.

There is a bit irony in this campaign image against Jack Franks.  Franks is a bill collection lawyer, according to the pollster I talked to.

State Rep. Jack Franks told every reporter but Pete Gonigam that he was dropping out of the race for State Representative.

Sunday, May 15th, Gonigam reported,

“Franks qualified that saying he’d give up the Rep. race if the Committee can pick another candidate who’s both ‘electable’ and holds a political outlook consistent with his own.”

But Franks hasn’t pulled out of the race.

Here is the form that Franks has to file with the State Board of Elections to withdraw from the race:

Jack Franks Still Running for State Rep. – Part 4 — 9 Comments

  1. Are you going to keep posting this Cal and then claim victory when he finally bows out?

  2. The series stops when he is no longer running for two offices.

  3. Ah, but a man’s reach should exceed his grasp, Or what’s a heaven for?

Daddy always said “Pride rideth before the fall ………

the banner men gather and the battle will soon be joined.

  4. The only person who is ‘”electable’ and holds a political outlook consistent with his own” is Jack Franks.

We both know Jack Franks is running for two offices.

Worse part is that he is loved in his hometown and no one in that area sees what Jack Franks is.

Another Illinois politician looking out for special interest groups and himself…

  5. The only person truly altruistic enough in your eyes would be Jesus, Brent.

But you wouldn’t vote for him because you’d call him a socialist

  6. Arithmetic isn’t my strong point but my count has Jack on course for not two, but four offices.

State Rep, County Executive, attorney and lobbyist.

And if Mike Walkup can run for County Exec and board member then why can’t Jack, so he can have 5 jobs.

Oh wait, he’s a bank director too so that makes six.

I’m probably missing a couple but what a resume!

  7. Still waiting for someone – anyone? –

to take me up on my bet that Jack Franks won’t run for state rep.
