Jack Franks Still Running for State Rep. – Part 24

Maybe we should hope that State Rep. Jack Franks will file a Statement of Withdrawal and just run for the McHenry County Board Chairmanship.

(But, Franks hasn’t pulled out of the race.  Or has Jack Franks finally filed a Withdrawal of Candidacy statement? Check whether Franks has filed the form yet, by clicking here.)

But so far, although he told all reporters but Pete Gonigam, who was actually in the room when the Democrats slated him for County Board Chairman, Franks said

he’d give up the Rep. race if the Committee can pick another candidate who’s both “electable” and holds a political outlook consistent with his own.

In 2012, he voted to increase our electric rates.

Franks wouldn’t be able to do that as County Board Chairman.

The question I asked in a October 27, 2011, article was

Why Did Jack Franks Flip on the Electric Rate Hike Vote?

In another he was against it before he was for it example, Jack Franks was a “No” vote on May 30th for Senate Bill 1652. Then came this twitter from ABC’s Charles Thomas:

This so-called Smart Grid bill was nothing but an end run past the Illinois Commerce Commission.

The result was higher electric rates for all of us.

Of course, Rep. Franks doesn’t like to talk about that.

Here is another flip:

Jack Franks and John Kerry are compared on term limits.

Jack Franks Still Running for State Rep. – Part 24 — 27 Comments

  1. Oh, that someone would do this to every single one of the liars that hold public offices.

We could whack-a-mole our way out of ever electing consummate liars.

  2. Cindy, you believe Ghandi is in hell and read from sources that say MLK was the anti-Christ.

I can’t imagine one can trust your “truth barometer.”

  3. Yes, Ghandi is in Hell.

He was a lawyer (you do know that, right?)

Do you even know what an antiChrist is?

  4. Looks like you are sitting this one out then – Steve Reick is a lawyer lol

  5. Ghandi was the leader of the Indian Independence Movement, by means of Non violent protest, and is the inspiration behind the non violent protests of Martin Luther King and others.

He was a peoples rights advocate in every way.

Read his Biography Cindy, you may actually learn something, instead of spewing off your non sense and gibberish.

  6. Even your beloved Wikipedia knows that he was a lawyer; why are you folks so adamant that you know everything when you clearly haven’t researched ANYTHING?

Are you that mean or just that stupid?

I am constantly amazed at the brainwashed that stick to their spoon fed stories because they have no appetite for searching out the truth.

No wonder we have an illegal plant in the white house and Jack Franks hanging in there for almost two decades!!!!!!

  7. He was a crook; and so it is appropriate that you should be haranguing about him on this particular page.

  8. Jack Franks the pension benefit hiker & retiree healthcare benefit hiker, both of which hikes taxes.

Both of which were mostly underfunded benefit hikes.

Both of which occurred while pension and retiree healthcare systems were mostly underfunded.

Underfunded pensions being the #1 fiscal problem in the State of Illinois.

A vote for underfunded benefit hikes to underfunded pension and retiree healthcare systems is a tax hiking vote.

  9. Cindy, you are delusional.

You use fancy words, but you don’t know what they mean.

Ghandi, is one of the most important people in World History and you call him a crook.

There is no evidence of any of your allegations. They are just words that have no meaning.

Anyone, that thinks that the Government controls the weather has issues and you have issues.

  10. Fighting Denise?

    Back to libel?

Is that your failsafe position on everything?

    There is plenty of evidence.

You just stick your fingers in your ears and refuse to listen.

You already have a head full of so much that is not true, that you have no idea how to find truth.

IF you are intimidated by my language, maybe you should learn to use the rich and diverse language you were given instead of throwing out childlike catcalls.

More time spent in a thesaurus might do you some good (It might also curtail your time spent haranguing others for imaginary offenses.).

BTW I never said the government controls the weather, but if you believe that all the odd weather all over the world is just nature, you are really staggering around in the dark.

Maybe ask someone from California about those issues you are having.

  11. You are “DELUSIONAL”

By the way I am not intimidated by your language, I think you make no sense.

Don’t you have some ocean front property in Arizona to attend to?

I don’t know anyone from California. More gibberish!

  12. Your lack of debating and debunking skills are a phenomenon to behold.

  13. You are right Cindy!

So many people watch too much television stuffing there mouths with popcorn forget that it is just a movie, not historical facts.

In the Zulu War of 1906 and the outbreak of World War I in 1914, Gandhi agreed to actively recruit Indians for the war effort. This time Gandhi attempted to recruit combatants in June 1918 leaflet entitled “Appeal for Enlistment”, Gandhi wrote “To bring about such a state of things we should have the ability to defend ourselves, that is, the ability to bear arms and to use them. If we want to learn the use of arms with the greatest possible dispatch, it is our duty to enlist ourselves in the army.”

Gandhi’s war recruitment campaign brought into question his consistency on nonviolence. Gandhi’s private secretary, Mahadev Desai noted that “The question of the consistency between his creed of ‘Ahimsa’ (nonviolence) and his recruiting campaign was raised not only then but has been discussed ever since.”

Also, this most important person in World History married a 14-year-old Kasturbai Makhanji Kapadia in May 1883 when Gandhi was only 13-year-old.

  14. Yeah, and slept naked with his underage great neices in his old age.

And he had an alleged homosexual affair with a body builder.

He counted Hitler as a friend and wrote heartfelt letters seeking a relationship with the fuhrer.

He followed Theosophy and was a big fan of Madame Blavatsky.

He came from a wealthy merchant family (who were also politically powerful) and lived in palatial mansions.

He was a member of the Inner Temple of The City of London.

(uh oh, Knights Templar = conspiracy theory whack jobs)

The whole myth is a psyop; but the teevee people still think the real truth is broadcast every day from that box.

    Whatever.

I am more concerned with people like Denise that refuse to see truth when it stares them in the face.

    Not critical thinkers.

No yen (excuse the pun) for enlightenment.

    No motivation to better themselves.

    Eric is awake.

He is someone that would thirst for truth while the lazy just want to be spoon fed.

  15. What happened to the guy that left the State of California because of allegations of sexual abuse by a family member?

Did he throw yet another temper tantrum and leave that State too?

  16. Gee Cindy, the more you talk the goofier you sound.

Fighting Corruption I think Cindy is having one of her moments.

Take a pill Cindy and have a glass of wine.

Maybe the martians with tin foil hats will go away.
