There was an invasion of green-backed Patrick Kenneally for State’s Attorney folks at Crystal Lake’s Independence Day Parade.
I looked and could see no sign of Jack Franks’ running mate, Jim Harrison, Kenneally’s Democratic Party opponent for McHenry County State’s Attorney.
And Harrison supporters would be hard to miss if they wore the same yellow and black tee shirts as they did when he ran for Sheriff against Bill Prim as an Independent two years ago.
With so many supporters in the staging area, other politicians seemed to gravitate toward Patrick Kenneally.
Kenneally even got District 2 McHenry County Board candidate John Reinert to sport one of his tee shirts.
Kenneally was one of the few in his contingent not to wear a Kenneally T-shirt.
Then, Kenneally saw my camera.
He didn’t follow my instructions to politicians: “Don’t look at the camera!”
Supporters kept coming.
Bringing up the rear was an old fire engine.
Love the sea of green
Not Surprised.
He will blow away the opposition on election day!.
Harrison should keep his head
Stuck in a hole somewhere with
That stupid lawsuit he filed against
That woman a few weeks back.
Harrison probably was not in the parade because he’s too busy trying to get ex-coroner, Marlene Lantz, off her felony charges of official misconduct and forgery charges……….
Judge denied Harrison’s claim that prosecutors misled a grand jury about the allegations…….
Stay tuned, next date Aug 5th……
Chicago Tribune Article by Amanda Marrazzo Headline ; Ex-coroner: Body disposal not my job
Kenneally has the Luck of the Irish !!!!!!
I want to try and figure out what that headline means, but then again, maybe I don’t.
What a great parade .
Huge amount of supporters and cheers from the crowd for Patrick.
