Jack Franks Still Running for State Rep. – Part 47

State Rep. Jack Franks continues to tell people he is not going to run for re-election as State Representative.

But he has not withdrawn.

And the day he was slated to run for McHenry County Board Chairman, Franks laid down some guidelines that seem unlikely any other Democrat from the 63rd District can fulfill.

On Sunday, May 15th, Pete Gonigam reported,

“Franks qualified that saying he’d give up the Rep. race if the Committee can pick another candidate who’s both ‘electable’ and holds a political outlook consistent with his own.”

The “electable” criterion will be a tough one to fill, considering that Governor Bruce Rauner carried Jack Franks’ district by 63%.

One statewide political commentator told me the reason for Franks’ not having filed a Statement of Withdrawal was that the Democrats were finding it difficult to find a “sacrificial lamb.”

Check here to see if Franks’ name shows up on the “Latest Candidates Removed from Ballot, GENERAL ELECTION – 11/8/2016″ page on the Illinois State Board of Elections web site.

A Democratic Party source who reads McHenry County Blog suggested that the candidate might be John Bartman.

Bartman is a farmer and Democratic Precinct Committeeman whom Franks successully recommended for a patronage job after Governor Rod Blagojevich took office.

Franks Partonage Req Memo 2-27-03

John Bartman was recommended for a position with the Illinois Department of Transportation. Bartman received such a job.

Jack Franks Still Running for State Rep. – Part 47 — 24 Comments

  1. Do not forget that Jack Franks is a delegate for Hillary.

As such, he must accept her lying to us about having classified emails on her personal, unprotected home server.

As such, he must accept her uranium deal with Russia.

As such, he must accept her letting 4 Americans die in Benghazi without providing any support even after many, many requests for armed support.

Watch 13 Hours to see the impact and results of her indifference.

As such, he must accept her being EXTREMELY CARELESS with our country’s most classified information.

If he does not accept her actions on the above, why is he one of her delegates?

We don’t need Hillary or anyone who accepts her

  2. John,

Watching 13 Hours in order to learn how The Benghazi Terrorist Attack unfolded is like choosing to watch Independence Day in order to learn how to combat aliens.

What’s more – want to bet $100 on who wins the election?

  3. Number 11…Bill Clow…Is this the same Bill Clow that received a job as a PR spokesman for Harvard Schools… at a time when the schools said they were going broke and cutting back on sports and other activities???

When it was mentioned that such a position was open and you were told that the hiring had taken place before the position was advertised…

If this is the same Bill Clow,,,then I question Jack Franks connection with the Harvard School board

  4. Bill, keep up the sleauthing.

We are fighting globalists; and you are going in the right direction.

  5. Moderate,

It is a non-fiction movie, unlike your idiotic suggestion, that shows how that liar demonstrated complete and utter indifference to our people in Benghazi.

Are you denying the perspective of those survivors?

Do you have some knowledge of what occurred that is better or more accurate than those actually involved?

Do you, like Hillary not care about those murdered as a result of her incompetence?

Are you the typical lib that believes your uninformed opinion is superior to those who lived through the experience?

You are like all other liberal lemmings who buy into the Clintons being above the law.

She may have dodged a legal bullet by having Billy meet with Lynch on the plane, but she is now convicted by the comments of the FBI, of lying, being EXTREMELY CARELESS with NATIONAL SECURITY, and for being so arrogant that even though she knew better, she did it anyway.

The court of public opinion is for more important than the court of law.

Conservatives will be pushing the FBI comments until the election is over.

Save your money on the bet.

You will need it when you leave the country upon Trump’s election.

    Where will you be going?

Mexico, Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Iran, China, or some other socialist third world country that is friendly to liberals.

  6. John M Bartman has a Marengo farm and is Democrat Precinct Committeeman for Seneca Precinct 2.

He is a union supporter as a Compliance Monitor for the Illinois Indiana Iowa Foundation for Fair Contracting (they make sure prevailing wage is being paid on taxpayer funded construction projects).

Prior to that he worked for 11 years as a Technical Manager / Regional Department Manager at the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT).

    2015 – $12,603
    2014 – $59,104
    2013 – $58,980
    2012 – $58,850
    2011 – $52,040
    2010 – $48,882
    2009 – $53,704
    2008 – $54,182
    2007 – $49,692
    2006 – $45,755
    2005 – $44,091

He is on the Board of Directors at the McHenry County Farm Bureau.

He’s a past Chair of the McHenry County Democrat party.

Farming is much different now than in the past.

In today’s crop farming, sometimes the people doing the work do not reside at the farm.

They may pay someone to plant and / or harvest the crop.

Or, the people living at the farm rent but don’t own the farm, which happened in the past too with sharecroppers and renters.

How much time can one spend farming if they are employed full time by IDOT or a union organization.

  7. Cindy — right as rain …as usual.

Hey, Mr. Radke, Franks may have sought to be a Killary aka “the Witch” delegate ….. but didn’t the wipe LOSE to Sanders’ delegates????

I really don’t think he is a delegate to anything but his own Daddy’s BBQ.

  8. John,

So, what you are saying is you won’t bet $100.00 on Hillary and Jack losing?

If you win, what Charity or campaign will I have to donate to?

If you lose, do you want to know the charity you will have to donate to?

  9. Franks ….. What a pig!

Trying to further feather his freakin’ family’s nest.

Trying to get his brother a job with the boxing commission … that lardy chap would have a heart attack if he had to do 4 minutes of manual labor.

Why isn’t his brother asked about how he got booted by the USN from his ‘intelligence position’?

  10. No I wont bet.

But I will rub your nose in it when the time comes.

  11. Moderate,

Don’t you care that Jack so shamelessly tried to suck up to the criminal governor to get some choice seats for his family and friends?

You are a supporter of blatant nepotism and patronage.

    Oh yeah, I forgot.

    You are an Illinois dem.

    That’s all you guys know.

You are also OK with the extremely careless handling of classified info by someone who wants to sit in the oval office?

You are OK with her lying about not having classified info on her unprotected home radio shack server?

You are OK with her denying support to the Ambassador and his support team in Benghazi?

You are OK with her lying about the attack being caused by some internet video, when she knew that was not true?

It sounds like as long as she is a dem and so is Jackie, you don’t care a bit about who they are?

    Am I correct?

  12. John,

    I understand you are mad.

But you and I won’t agree on the facts.

Also, you and I won’t ever see eye to eye.

    So, what’s left?

Volunteer, which both you and I do.

    And, prognosticate.

That’s what I’m doing. $100 to your favorite charity if I lose, and $100 to my favorite cause if I win.

I’ll even add to the bet.

If you can get Cindy to agree to the wager and I lose, I’ll never post here again.

  13. John?

You forgot to mention that Moderate has the attention span of a goldfish.

  14. Township employees, IDOT Union patronage people who are also Farmers getting tax payer subsidies as well are the group who were elected into Republican Committeeman positions in the Norwest Township Group and took over.

They are the old Republican guard and are just as much Union Pension hogs as the Democrats.

    Totally agree with Mark’s opinion.

These Township guys, IDOT employees who got the positions through patronage placements are also Farmers or hold down other full time jobs in companies..

How is this even possible or acceptable.

    It’s fraud in my opinion.

The man who defeated me in my Committeeman position is IDOT that he got through his Mother who was the past committeeman in Marengo 3..

He told me he was entitled to the committeeman position because his Mother had it.

This is the mentality that is out there.

    He is also a Farmer.

I think it’s pure corruption and party has nothing to do with it.

  15. alabamashake

You have some trouble with the English language?

You believe a proven liar over people with exemplary military careers?

That would be a strong indication you have that mental disease called liberalism.

  16. So you lost and therefore he is corrupt?

Ersle And Diane- your examples of conservative are both township employees who get a pension…

Your county board- all Republican county board got a pension until they were shamed into stepping away from it.

    They get mileage and healthcare…

John Hammerand the poster child of the extreme right whole family is involved with government.

How do you know how this man runs his farm?

@John- There were 13 attacks on Embassys under Pres Bush and 60 people died.

I don’t hear any outrage there.

At least be consistent in your rage.

  17. Jack Franks redefines friends and family, to family and friends.

    Family first.

Democrat State Representative Jack Franks’ top 3 recommendations to Democrat Governor Rod Blagojevich on February 27, 2003 for jobs in the Blagojevich Administration were his wife Debby Franks, lawyer father Herb Franks, and lawyer brother Jack Franks.

Governor Blagojevich did not appoint any of the 3?

State Representative Franks voted to impeach Governor Blagojevich in House Resolution 1671 (HR 1671) on January 9, 2009 in the 95th Illinois General Assembly.

    The Roll Call was:

    114 Yeas
1 Nay (Democrat Milton Patterson, Chicago)
1 Present (Democrat Elga Jefferies, Chicago)
1 Excused (Democrat Kenneth Dunkin, Chicago).

No doubt there are lots of interesting letters to public servant Governors of both parties by public servant State Representatives, State Senators, and others from both parties, residing in files and computers somewhere on State property.

    Public servants.

  18. As usual you are a raging Liberal idiot.

The attacks under Bush weren’t handled by lying about it saying it was because of an anti-Muslim youtube video, the Bush Administration didn’t punish the families of the attacked, and I don’t remember the attacked being repeatedly denied help!

Hillary is a devious lying self serving Bitch who will continue to put our troops and Nat’l Security at risk and treat citizens as ‘subjects’ who are beneath her.

Any delegate or fan of hers is no friend to the U.S.!

Franks is no friend to the U.S.!
