A press release from Republicans in Kane County:
GOP Fall Rally Set for September 17 at Geneva Ballpark
Come and meet the game changers who are working to turn around Illinois and learn how you can help at the GOP Fall Rally at the Fifth Third Ballpark in Geneva on Saturday, September 17, from 4 to 7 pm.
Meet candidates in an informal setting, learn about the five points of Governor Rauner’s Turnaround Agenda and other issues facing families today, visit local organizations working to promote Republican principles, and enjoy a good old-fashioned ballpark cookout. The cookout includes hot dogs, brats, hamburgers, chicken, sides, dessert, and beverages. There will be a cash bar. Fireworks will end the event.
Illinois Republicans believe that the five points of Governor Rauner’s Turnaround Agenda are key to saving our state. Subject matter experts, information displays, and free-spirited conversation will be featured for these five points:
- Worker’s Compensation/Unemployment Reform
- Property Tax Freeze
- Tort Reform
- Term Limits
- Fair Political District Maps.
