Jack Franks invited people rich enough to donate $1,000 to attend an exclusive fundraiser in Oak Brook.  It appears eleven people showed up…or at least contributed the $1,000 requested to the event.

Jack Franks’ finance people finally got around to putting his $1,000 fundraiser money in the bank and reporting it to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Here are the contributors and the city they used on their checks:

  • $1,500 – Law office of James A. Knepper, PC, Chicago
  • $1,000 – Amari & Locallo Law Offices, Chicago
  • $1,000 – Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Springfield
  • $1,000 – S. Louis Rathje, Wheaton

Non-lawyers are listed below:

  • $5,000 – Steven W. Kling, Real Estate Broker, Colliers International, Hampshire
  • $2,000 – Daniel Walters, Farmer, Hebron
  • $1,000 – Christopher Mullen Realty Tax LLC, Chicago
  • $1,000 – The Roosevelt Group, Chicago
  • $1,000 – Citizens for Frank Watson, Greenville

There were two other $1,000 lawyer contributors reporter earlier.

  1. Can’t wait to see which candidate for County Board Chairman the County ‘Farm’ Bureau endorses.

    Will they support a proven liar or a proven doer.

    One promises tax reduction while the other has actually done so.

    One is open to the public while the other has ‘thugs’ standing in the room during his scripted town halls.

  2. Conservative voter: You are right but please be clear

    Franks is the liar and Walkup is the doer

    Franks promises tax reduction (even tho as county brd chair will have no authority to do so) while Walkup is still on the county brd and running for chairman as well HAS lowered taxes!

    and finally
    Franks refused the Candidate Forum while Walkup has been to all of them.
