The Chicago Sun-Times has endorsed two Democrats running for the first time in McHenry County:
- Nancy Zettler
- John Bartman
Nancy Zettler is running to replace retiring State Rep. Mike Tryon. Her Republican opponent is Allen Skillicorn.
John Bartman is running against Republican Steve Reick to replace retiring Jack Franks.
Here’s the endorsements:
Or more simply, Zettler supports those ideas that will raise our taxes and restrict our rights.
I’m no pro-gun zealot, but “laws to reduce gun violence” is code for gun control.
Thankfully, the man so honored as to be deemed worthy by the Most High Jack Franks is not in my district.
No surprise surprise, Sun-Times is a Lib rag.
Pravda …. for a long time now the voice of the Soviet news of Amerika.
Get a grip boys and girls …..
it’s for all the marbles this time.
John Bartman is not even hones about his job.
He is a prevailing wage monitor for IIIFFC, which is a prevailing wage monitoring organization.
(IIIFFC recently changed the title of their prevailing wage monitors, from Compliance Monitors, to Construction Analysts).
He supports labor, because he works for a labor organization.
And he’s the former Chair of the McHenry County Democrat Party.
That’s not being revealed either in these endorsements or on his website.

How are we supposed to get lower taxes with two pro labor candidates?
Won’t happen.
Unions want more tax revenue, not less tax revenue.
++++++++++
Read the Governor Bruce Rauner Administration’s Turnaround Agenda for the reforms that labor is not supporting.

BUT! There is no bias in the msm!!
Just ask the guy in the White House or anyone running as a Democrat!
This whole media bias thing is nothing but a conspiracy theory!!
The following links are all ‘plants’ by Putin!!

This link has a story from 2008: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TdzlnwWsAAU
http://blackboxvoting.org/ btw, Bev Harris is a registered Democrat.
And oh, Yes!
I have a bridge to sell!
If you are a Trump supporter, wear red on election day!!
I thought Zettler was on the D300 school board for a time?
Sun-Times’ coverage of McHenry County is almost exclusively cop shop reports and it only has about 2,200 subscribers within it.
The Chicago newspaper’s area endorsements are, therefore, less than irrelevant.
**BUT! There is no bias in the msm!!**
Huh?
So if papers endorse Dems, they are biased.
But if papers endorse Repubs, are they biased?
NW Herald endorsed almost all Republicans.
Are they biased?
What about the Trib?
In the case of John Bartman, the press has not even report his current employer, the IUOE Local 150 subsidiary organization named the Indiana, Illinois, Iowa Foundation for Fair Contracting (IIIFFC).
Steve Reick is apparently not viewed favorably by Vote Smart
http://votesmart.org/candidate/political-courage-test/147781/steven-reick/#.WAfn1iTi9yo
Vote Smart has no opinion of Steve Reick, favorably or unfavorably.
Here is the message on the Vote Smart website.
Steven Reick has refused to provide voters with positions on key issues covered by the 2016 Political Courage Test, despite repeated requests.
Historically, candidates have failed to complete our test due to the advice they receive from their parties and advisors and out of fear of negative attack ads.
Steven Reick is still welcome to submit the test at any time.”

Negative attack ads.

The Republican primary election election held March 15, 2016 featured negative attack ads by the “Government for the People” independent expenditure committee which supported Democrat Jeffery Lichte (he filed to run as a Republican with the SBE) and opposed Steve Reick.
IPACE (IEA teacher union PAC) reported expending $12,500 to the the Government for the People PAC located at the address of Shaw Decremer on March 8, 2016 for mail pieces to oppose Steve Reick.
The next day IPACE issued a correction.
The Naperville address (used on the Government for the People D-1 Statement of Organization) should have been reported, the IPACE letter states (not the address which at the time was linked to Shaw Decremer).
The D-1 Statement of Organization for Government for the People itself contains an irregularity.
The Committee Chairperson is listed and signed as John M Biesk.
“John M BieSk” appears 4 times on the one page form.
“John M BieCk appears 1 time on the form.
He forgot how to print his name on that Line 9?
