The McHenry County Republican Party has made the following mailing, which appears to be mainly a sample ballot:
Here is address side of the mailing from the Republican Party that was sent out this week.
This is the back of the McHenry County Republican Party mailing.
McHenry County Board Chairman candidate Mike Walkup reports to the State Board of Elections that the Illinois Republican Party says the value of the mailing to his campaign was $2,010.20.
McHenry County Recorder of Deeds candidate Joe Tirio reports an in-kind contribution of $2,101.19.
McHenry County Auditor candidate Pam Palmer also reports $2,101.20.
McHenry County Circuit Clerk candidate Kathleen Keefe says she got $2,101.20, too.
With County Coroner Anne Majewski not having spent or raised enough to require filing anything with the State Board of Elections, one would assume that the value to her campaign was the same amount.
Presumably State’s Attorney candidate Patrick Kenneally will make a similar report.
So that means the mailing cost at least $12,600.
The McHenry County GOP is regressing to what it was three years ago!!
Where are the position statements on County Board size? The union proposal to guarantee continued Road Building EVEN if there is a natural disaster which requires every transportation dollar to feed the masses?
The pension problem is due to the stupid voters who changed our Constitution in 1970! Will we make the same mistake again?

If the Republican party is for low taxes and if they have been the majority party in McHenry County and if they believe in local school boards who voted for teachers’ raises and benefits why are McHenry County property taxes so high?

The schools account for that.
And in McHenry County, most school boards are Democratic leaning and beholden to teachers unions.

The gas bag known as gasser is just like the other republicans who are endorsing Jack Franks. I hope there are pictures of him in his silver stained gas bag mobile. Gas bag gasser you didn’t even bother to take off your Joe Walsh and Patrick Kenneally signs on your truck.
