GOP Letter from Dorr Township Precinct Committeeman

Woodstock Republican Precinct Committeeman Cyndi Hemauersent sent this letter to her Dorr 7 precinct:

October 26, 2016

Dear Neighbor,

My name is Cyndi Hemauer and I am your Republican Precinct Committeeman for Dorr 7 and neighbor from Winslow Circle.

I have been a McHenry County resident for 23 years.

I am concerned with the state of our Town, Country and State.

I am a Constitutional Conservative that ran on God, Liberty and the Veterans in the March Primary and true to the platform (Fiscal Responsibility, Protecting Religious Liberty, Constitutional Limited Government, Increasing Transparency, Promoting Free Markets and Celebrator of Life!).

FOR THE FIRST TIME I CAN REMEMBER, Republicans went thru the Primary, worked hard yet DEMOCFRATS were caucused in at the last minute afterwords.

They flipped a coin and Dems won first placement on the ballot too!

Let’s show our Republicans who worked very hard In the Primary, invested over a years worth of work into this election and rose to the top, that they deserve our votes!

And let’s keep the Democratic Madigan Machine OUT of McHenry County!

You have heard it said before, this General Election is such and important race!

This year it’s never been truer: this is the MOST IMPORTANT Election of our lifetimes!

Many believe that it will mark a turning point where Nepotism, Cronyism and Crooked Government give way to True Citizen Leadership and Elected Officials willing to be held accountable.

It’s time to get involved and help get Conservatives elected!

In the November 8th General Election, we have great local Candidates who are ready to roll up their sleeves and give full-time effort to making IL and McHenry County the best place it can be.

If you share the same concerns as I do, please vote for these Republican Candidates! They are committed to working in YOUR best interest!

I have included a SAMPLE BALLOT.

Early voting started October 24th at limited locations. Check clerks site for details: https://www.co.mchenrv.il.us/county-government/departments-ai/countv-clerk God Bless you and

God Bless the United States of America!

Joe Tirio (R)- County Recorder

Joe started with a pledge not to partake in Nepotism that plagues Government with his iWontHireMyWife.com Campaign.

This inspired several McHenry County Townships to pass an Anti-Nepotism Resolution.

He made the “front page news” when he was endorsed by Taxpayers United of America, for his plan to cut the county’s operational costs by streamlining office operations and then merging the Recorder’s into the Clerk’s office and ultimately, abolishing the very position he is running for!

See Joe’s EraseTheRecorder.com Campaign.

“It’s a Figurehead position that doesn’t even exist in 81 of the 102 counties in Illinois. It can and should be eliminated.

“That means $105,000 salary plus Cadillac insurance and a pension plus other employer costs, raises that can be eliminated from the county budget…FOREVER!”

Joe is an experienced and innovative Leader with more than 3 decades of outstanding accomplishment working with and for, some of the most respected companies in the world.

Joe was chosen to lead Ameritech and SBC through one of the largest mergers in US history!

Retired now, Joe is a local, Main Street small business owner who has built an award winning company from the ground upl see MonarchSeniorCare.com.

A Citizen activist and co-founder of VoterslnAction.com he has helped drive:

  • Transparency
  • Reduction in Government Costs and
  • Raised awareness of issues critical to the people of McHenry County

Joe Tirio wants to be your next Recorder. . . and your LAST!

Michael Walkup (R)- County Board Chairman

Michael has led an honest campaign without gimmicks, pledges or fake promotions.

He is characterized with ethics by never taking a dime of union money to get elected and is beholden to NO ONE! Michael is a TAX FIGHTER!

In his four years on the County Board, he has led the fight against County Government tax increases resulting in the passage of levies with NO TAX INCREASES for FOUR STRAIGHT YEARS and LOWERING TAXES in 2016.

Michael Walkup is our BEST choice for County Board Chairman!

GOP Letter from Dorr Township Precinct Committeeman — 23 Comments

  1. Kenneally is the epitome of “cronyism”! Thank God his father paved (paid) the way for him!

  2. like her explanations on the ballot. (instead of ‘just take my word for it’)

Good letter and explanations Cyndi Hemauersent!

  3. Great command of the English language there Cindy.

You ran for Precinct Committeeman with a Platform-hilarious!

You stand for “I will knock on door and hand out lit for the Republican candidates”- nothing else.

The motor fuel tax should go to roads- prevailing wage is the law of the state- change that but keep the money from being swept- you can’t grow without infrastructure being invested.

Joe Tirio CAN NOT eliminate the Recorders office. – and if he really wanted to- he could do so as a citizen and petition the county board.

The campaign is a lie- he needs a job.

Until 4 years ago- Walkup was a registered Democrat who worked to elect Franks and Bean-

Now he is a conservative? County board members have no checks and balances now- you think the work of a 300,000 person county needs this many county board members you know who uses the argument about committee assignments?

County board members trying to keep their paycheck.

It has never been MORE TRUE that your ballot flies in the face of what the Constitution stands for.

  4. Fewer (not “LESS”) board members means less money paid for stipends and lower benefits.

When presented with the opportunity to lower those expenses (albeit at the county level), you talk about checks and balances.

    Yet you advocate for Trump!!!

Pick a lane and be consistent with your ballot!!

  5. People should google the definition of “vaffanculo”.

    #justsayin
    #sorrynotsorry

And vaffanculo is just like the other anonymous cowards. I am a big believer in using real names. Have some integrity and honor “vaffanculo”.

  6. vote “no” to keep road funds from being diverted into whatever budget hole exists elsewhere.

    great plan!

  7. Duh,

Metra just today gave the county board an update on their budgets

Their funding plan for capital investments is at 25% funding this year.

Should we constitutionally guarantee funding for Metra and other ‘transportation projects’ with road funds?

  8. People cannot “register” as a Republican or a Democrat in Illinois.

They can decide to vote in a Republican or Democratic Party primary election, but doing so does not prevent a vote in another party primary the next time an election is held.

Walkup was a Republican Precinct Committee more than ten years ago. Can’t remember when.

He also ran for Nunda Township Supervisor in the Republican Party Primary when John Heisler was elected.

  9. Xout, couldn’t Rauner issue a reduction veto if he thinks Metra is asking for too much for capital investments?

Fares are going up, no new revenue is being expected from the state.

Why do you assume that the amendment means just because Metra asks for x amount of dollars they’re “constitutionally guaranteed” that amount?

The amendment states funds raised for transportation have to be used for transportation; that’s all.

How they divide the transportation fund to various projects would be up to the government.

  10. VOTE TRUMP for these reasons too (besides the Supreme Court Justices)
    1. Hillary: held accountable for her previous wrongs!

    2. Put “GOD” back in America !!!

    3. Borders: Closed or tightly guarded!

    4. Congress: On the same retirement & healthcare plans as everybody else.

    5. Congress: Obey its own laws NOW!

    6. Language: English only!

    7. Culture: Constitution and the Bill of Rights!

    8. Drug Free: Mandatory Drug Screening before & during Welfare!

    9. Freebies: NONE to Non-Citizens!

    10. Budget: Balance the damn thing!

    11. Foreign Countries: Stop giving them our money! Charge them for our help! We need it here.

    12. Fix the TAX CODE!

    And

    13. “RESPECT OUR MILITARY AND LAW ENFORCEMENT!

  11. Hemauer’s right.

They would have to offer Less People on the County Board More money, negating any real savings and it’s easier to bribe 12 board members than it is 24!

It would be almost a full-time job with all the committees they would have to be a part of and prepare for.

‘vaffanculo’ contradicts itself with this comment.

Not such a great ‘command of the English Language’ there F.U.

You’re foul mouthed and a hypocrite, so you must be a Democrat!

“Joe Tirio CAN NOT eliminate the Recorders office. – and if he really wanted to- he could do so as a citizen and petition the county board.”

So ‘he cannot eliminate the Elected Position of ‘Recorder’? OR ‘He can by petitioning?”

    LOL

    Make up YOUR mind!!!

LOL (like I said, must be a Democrat)

  12. My #1 Reason for Voting Trump is …. the repealing and replacement of Obamacare! (formerly known as HillaryCare)

What a terrible thing this has been and will continue to be.

  13. @Camp Lake- Tirio can not as the Recorder eliminate the office of Recorder.

IF he were truly interested in eliminating the job, he would already be doing so.

@ Gasser- Your value is in that you have time to knock on doors, GOFO.

You are part of the Charlie Foxtrot
    that is the Republican Party-

  14. Reducing the number of county board members is not a good idea.

It’s an attempt by Democrats to obtain more power in McHenry County.

    +++++++++++

    The same Jack Franks who:

    – Said he would limit himself to 3 terms (6 years) as State Representative (he is now in his 9th term – 18 years),

    – Advocated converting McHenry County form of government to Executive (giving the Executive more power, which as it turns out he could have had himself in mind for that position as evidenced by the fact he is running for McHenry County Board Chair now),

    – Said he would not run for County Board Chair in 2016 but is running for County Board Chair in 2016,

    – Also advocated to reduce the number of county board members,

    – And is now claiming he can reduce taxes 10% in each property taxing district in the county.

  15. Just thinking of the upcoming election is still giving me the creeps (to much Democratic Voter fraud), but then I remembered what I had just heard reported on CNN :

Late one evening, while the campaign motorcade proceeded down a lonely rural road in west Texas, a very aged cow that had wandered away from its farm pasture suddenly stepped onto the road directly in the path of the oncoming vehicles. The Secret Service limo driver tried to avoid the aging bovine but just couldn’t stop the car in time. Unfortunately, the old cow was struck and killed.

From the back seat of the limo,Hillary Clinton demanded that her driver to go up to the nearby farmhouse and explain to the owners what had happened.

She insisted, however, that the agent should resist any request from the farmer to pay for the animal, and she added, “You killed it, so if they demand money, it will come out of your own pocket!”

Meanwhile,Hillary stayed in the car making phone calls on her unsecured cell phone.

About an hour later the driver staggered back to the car with his clothes in disarray.

He was holding a half-empty bottle of expensive wine in one hand, a huge Cuban cigar in the other, and was smiling happily, smeared with lipstick.

“What happened to you?” asked Hillary.

“Well,” the driver replied, “the farmer gave me the cigar, his wife gave me the wine, and their beautiful twin daughters made passionate love to me.

“I had just stepped inside the door and said,
‘I’m Hillary Clinton’s driver and I’ve just killed the old cow.’ ”

“The rest happened so fast I couldn’t stop it.”

I think they said they found this in her emails to her girlfriend, you know the Muslim one who’s in deep shit these days.

  16. Tirio will get it done.

Of course it can be done!

It’s On the Cook county ballot this election.

Will most likely be on Lake and Kane soon.

    Other counties considering it also.

The Democrats are only interested in spending, sitting in office for life, collecting pension, no term limits.

  17. Some of you are obsessed with pointing out Tirio can’t eliminate it by himself.

    He knows, and we know.

And Tirio has always been pretty upfront about that fact.

The point is, if the County Board is willing (and Tirio will push the issue to make them more willing), then the offices can be merged.

His opponent on the other hand is NOT going to push the issue and has said she does NOT want the offices merged.

Surprise surprise… even in Cook County there is support for merging the offices. http://chicago.suntimes.com/opinion/editorial-vote-to-merge-county-offices-save-money/
What is their population like 17 times more than ours?

  18. Sick of hearing about how ‘he can’t.

Duh, don’t they think he checked all this out beforehand?!

And what County Board Member wouldn’t want to have a hand in doing away with that elected position and saving those county operating costs and pension from this point forward?

(unless they have their eye on it for themselves to have a lifelong job like the outgoing Recorder!)

    GO TIRIO!

  19. Good job, PC Hemauersent. You didn’t leave much to wonder about.

Yes we need more PCs that will take the time to do this!

    Thank you.

Can we please replace Mark Kirk tho.

He may as well be a Dem Progressive!

Still better than the alternative (but we need to get him out)

  20. Our Precinct committeeman of Dorr areas have been doing well of letting people know that we have to do something with cutting local property taxes.

As ILLINOIS property taxes and Mc Henry property taxes, have been one of the highest in the country for a long time and have not got any better.

And this is & has pushed people out of our State & County, this not good for anybody, the real hardship is on the older members of our area who are on a fixed income, and with taxes only going up they can not hold on to their homes, even though some may have their homes paid off, others are looking at their taxes higher than their mortgage.

THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE BEFORE OUR TOWNS AND COUNTY BECOME GOAST TOWN & WASTE LANDS LIKE THE OLD WEST.
