Here’s the Cut 10 logo being used in Jack Franks’ campaign. It’s carries a promise that Lying Jack Franks cannot deliver.

More smoke and mirrors from Lying Jack Franks in his campaign for  McHenry County Board Chairman.

Franks continues with his bogus Cut 10 campaign.

No more images of a house with scissors cutting through it and the slogan, “Cut Property Taxes NOW 10%.”

Since he can’t point to any taxes he has cut, unlike his Republican opponent Mike Walkup, Franks has fallen back on his “fighting taxes” mantra.

  1. Purely as a study of human nature the last several days of attempted engagement with any liberal Democrat on any subject they choose there are several things which seem clear.

    Democrats appear to be pitiable in they seem to have no self esteem or self respect.

    One of the sharper seeming commenters even described themselves as a slave while capitulating completely any argument or position.

    Democrats seem to not believe themselves or their neighbors capable of self determination or self government.

    They wish for some person to use the government to dictate even the most personal of decisions.

    Democrats do not seem to believe in the “melting pot” of America with the hopeful vision each human being, regardless of race, creed, parentage or wealth, has the endowed right in this nation to pursue and achieve anything they set themselves to do.

    These seem to be the saddest, most pitiable, least hopeful people who have ever lived at any time in our nations history.

    For those Democrats who are willing to listen please know you have worth.

    You are capable of more than being a worker bee for a Madigan, or his catamites, for the rest of your lives.

    You are also capable of making decisions for yourself and your families without the mentally abusive Democrats telling you every move.

    You are certainly worthy of living, in spite of the Democrats saying you are not even allowed basic human rights like self defense or determining your own health decisions without government functionaries involved.

    You, and your neighbors, are certainly worthy of being afforded opportunities to improve your lives without government creating toxic relationships between any relationship they can touch: employer/employee, races, neighbors, nations…

    The short version is you are all worthy of so much more of life than Democrats deign to offer you and, in America, it is your right to seek more.

    Please strive for more. For better. For everything you can achieve of your desires.

    Don’t settle for dictators who explicitly hate you and abuse you. When you’re used to the abuse it can be hard to grow past it but you each deserve more than what Democrats offer.

    It’s every Free Citizens duty to help you out of their matrix.

    Please find one.

    We will help you leave your abusers.

  2. Priest, I guess you don’t talk to the right folk.

    Great straw man argument, wonder how you would fare with someone punching back?

    This may be the greatest election ever, the R’s have to act like they are getting what they want with that dumpster fire of a candidate they have, and the D’s had to watch the larceny that was their nomination process.

    I literally can’t lose this cycle.

    #bringbacktheas

  3. Priest you are right again.

    Democrats are miserable and misery loves company.

  4. Well, Watching, it would be interesting to find anyone liberal capable of anything approaching reasoned conversation.

    Our conversation, given your disdain for both Parties, would likely be a chorus of agreement.

    The slight difference would be you seem to desire anarchy with both political sides equally to blame for the destruction and I may make the argument the once mighty populist Democrat Party has devolved into elitist anti Americanism while the Republican Party is populated with pro American selfish arrogant children incapable of the task of denying their deadly sins long enough to hold any moral high ground whatsoever.

    Sounds terrible for The People but, at this point, the pro American idiots are better than the seditious hate mongers. We’ll need to strive for better in future elections.

    If you’ve got more you’d like to offer to the conversation you are most welcome.

    Any alternative view is welcomed, wished for and awaited.

  5. Democrat John Bartman v Republican Steve Reick for 63rd District State Representative.

    The 63rd District lies entirely in McHenry County, covering in general western and northern sections of the county.

    The 64th, 65th, and 66th State House Districts also cover portions of McHenry County.

    +++++++++++++

    Here is another example of John Bartman coverage that does not include the name of his current employer.

    John Bartman is a union member employed by the Indiana Illinois Iowa Foundation for Fair Contracting (IIIFFC).

    IIIFFC is a subsidiary of IUOE Local 150.

    Why is Jack Franks hiding the current employer of John Bartman in his endorsement?

  6. IUOE Local 150 has contributed $72,350 to Jack Franks PACs since he has been a candidate for State Representative.

    $57,000 of that was contributed in 2016.

    +++++++++++++

    IUOE Local 150 has contributed $212,165 to the John Bartman PAC.

    That was all contributed since September 12, 2016.

    The John Bartman PAC has received $304,795 in contributions.

    Thus, 70% of contributions to the John Bartman PAC were made by IUOE Local 150.

    +++++++++

    Personal PAC (pro abortion) has made independent expenditures of $22,304 in mailings to support John Bartman.

    Liberty Principles PAC (Dan Proft) has made an independent expenditure of $1,200 in consulting to oppose John Bartman.

  7. Anyone but Killary.

    There are other women leaders

    Like Elizabeth Warren who would
    Have been a worthy candidate.

    But, people like her don’t run.

  8. Cal- I figured you might not have noticed this because you seem mildly illiterate, but you wrote “Franks’ endorsement is of the man he got a patronage job from Governor Rod Blagojevich.”

    Just think about that sentence…

    Those are all words, but your sentence structure is pitiful- like most of your other writing.

    Anyway, have an excellent day.

  9. Jack Franks is as fake as they come.

    Bartman isn’t deserving of anyone’s endorsement, but it makes sense that someone so fake would support him.

  10. John Bartman is:

    – former Chair of the McHenry County Democrat Party.

    – former Chair of the McHenry County Democrat Party PAC, named, “McHenry County Democratic Central Committee” PAC

    – currently elected Democrat Seneca Township Precinct 2 Precinct Committeeman

    +++++++++

    Bernard Schoenburg of the Peoria Journal Start wrote an article dated August 28, 2005 and titled, “Blagojevich Hires His Kind.”

    “During its first 2 1/2 years, the Blagojevich administration has hired more than a dozen of the state’s 102 Democratic chairman for state jobs.”

    “Some examples of the Democratic appointees:”

    “Champaign County’s Tony Fabri of Champaign and McHenry County’s John Bartman of Marengo each began in 2003 as IDOT local community and safety liaisons.

    IDOT spokesman Matt Vanover said those jobs include ‘work with the local community and do community outreach and safety education outreach.’

    Each made $43,800 annually, though Fabri left the job in early 2005.”

  11. Those from the above letter who received a position:

    Herb Franks (father of Jack Franks), Illinois Courts Commission

    John Bartman (friend of Jack Franks), Illinois Department of Transportation

    Judge Erin O’Connell Diaz, Illinois Commerce Commission

    Bill Clow, Harvard School District 50

    +++++++++++++

    It’s unknown to what degree if any the letter had in obtaining the positions.

  12. Jack Franks has not advertised that a “ballot initiative committee” named the “Cut 10 Committee” and chaired by a former Marengo resident (Jack Franks is from Marengo) was created August 26, 2016 “To pass a state wide referendum requiring all taxing bodies to reduce their tax levy by 10%.”

    People might ask, why is a County Board candidate associated with a statewide initiative.

    Would the County Board Chair position be a stepping stone to a higher office.

    What higher office might be associated with a statewide effort to cut property taxes 10%.

    Even more importantly though, since there is major debt and unfunded pension and retiree healthcare obligations at many property taxing districts, not to mention existing collective bargaining agreements which unions have no desire to renegotiate downwards (plus most of those unions support Jack Franks), if property taxes are cut, we will face service cuts, tax or fee hikes, or both, to cover the property tax reduction.

    Because that fact is, even though property taxes are already high, there are serious financial problems in several McHenry County property taxing districts.

    Could there be an initiative for a progressive income tax coupled with a property tax reduction?

    What is the plan?

    If elected, Jack Franks promised to reveal his plan on the first day.

    ++++++++++++

    Jack Franks also promised he would not run for County Board Chair in 2016.

    That promise is recorded in a June 6, 2014 Northwest Herald article by Kevin Craver titled, “Franks Asks County for 2 Advisory Referendums.”

    Jack Franks is obviously running for County Board chair.
