A Last Minute Lying Jack Franks Pitch

Jack Franks

Jack Franks

Sunday McHenry County Republican Party Chairman Sandra Salgado made a robo-call pointing out that, contrary to a mailing from one of Lying Jack Franks supporters, Mike Walkup was the Republican candidate for McHenry County Board Chairman.

Tonight a fake group calling itself “Real Republicans of McHenry County” made a call calling Walkup a “fake Republican,” indeed, a Democrat.

I guess the McHenry County Republican Party isn’t “real” enough for the shills that put out this call for Lying Jack Franks.

Now if the phantom group had called itself “Fake Republicans of McHenry County,” that would be truthful.

But this is a consistent phenomenal of campaigns when a Republican challenges Jack Franks.

Fake committees pop up without identification allowing one to discover who is behind them.

Sometimes even ducks duck.

Sometimes even ducks duck.

No way to trace the lies back to Lying Jack Franks.

But, if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it’s probably a duck.

I guess the race must be a whole lot closer than Lying Jack Franks was expecting.

Here’s a similar robo-call from four years ago.

A Friend of McHenry County Blog happened upon it.

The sponsor then was an unknown committee called “Republicans for Truth and Transparency.”

  1. Lots of deception this year.

Democrat Jeffery Lichte, a Jack Franks supporter, filed to run as a Republican candidate in the 63rd District State Representative primary.

Steve Reick defeated Jeffery Lichte in March 15, 2016 primary election.

Democrat Jack Franks was unopposed in that primary election.

    Some more history.

After the primary election, Jack Franks announced he would run as McHenry County Board Chair.

Some time after that, John Bartman was selected by the McHenry County Democrat party to replace Jack Franks on the ballot.

Several Democrat McHenry County Board candidates did not announce their candidacy until after the primary election this year.

  2. What is commonly known and clearly seen as a futile attempt to prevent what promises to be the ‘upset’ of the decade here in McHenry County.

We’ve all seen the truth about Lying Jack Franks.

This election will be, and should be a referendum on the history of Lying Jack Franks.

The citizens of Mchenry County owe at least a small ‘atta boy’ to the un-named author or authors of

My guess is that in the immortal words of ‘The Terminator”

    “We’ll be back”

    Count on it! …………..

  3. You prefer Mike “Paper Dust Allergy” Walkup and his laughable Disability claim to Jack Franks, who actually brought more back to McHenry County from Springfield than Schaeffer, Hughes, Klemm, and Brown combined?

  4. Mike Walkup wrote in the comments section of a blog post that he does not have a paper dust allergy, rather has an asthmatic reaction to chemicals in paper that occurs when exposed to large quanties of paper in an enclosed environment.

  5. A large part of the current problem in Illinois is due to the State House (Madigan, Franks, etc.) voting for unbalanced budgets and unfunded mandates.

  6. Charles Nelson?

Had to hold my nose to vote for Kirk.

    Suck it up, dude!

Why are you so adamant that you want Illinois to fail?

  7. I held my nose and voted for Kirk also.

I will be retiring to the Florida Panhandle in a few years.

If the economy tanks under Hillary, sooner rather than later.

  8. Robo call Monday Eve….Went like this

This is from the “Republican Party Against Democrats” …

Did you know the Mike Walkup is a Democrat disguised as a republican?

He calls himself a republican but isn’t

Vote for Jack franks and don’t let these fakes get in office
    ………………
(to the best of my memory)

  9. There is no organization known as the Republican Party Against Democrats registered with the Illinois State Board of Elections or anywhere else.

It’s someone that wants Jack Franks elected.

It seems every election day an unknown organization appears for 1 day.

    It’s a fake.

  10. Jeffery Lichte is a Jack Franks supporting Democrat who on November 30, 2015 filed to run in the March 15, 2016 primary election as a Republican for 63rd District State Representative.

The person who Jeffery Lichte supports, Jack Franks, was unopposed in the March 15, 2016 primary election.

Steve Reick defeated Jeffery Lichte in the March 15, 2016 primary election.

On May 15, 2016, Jack Franks announced he was a Democrat candidate for McHenry County Board Chair.

On July 9, 2016, the McHenry County Democrat Party selected John Bartman to as candidate for 63rd District State Representative.

Several Democrats whom are candidates for the McHenry County Board announced their candidacy after the primary election.

Thus this November 8, 2016 primary election cycle, several Republican candidates have been known for a longer period of time than their Democrat counterparts.

  11. Seems many people are asking “does Walkup have a paper allergy?”

Perhaps if one of the negative mailers actually had a website or contact information, people could have received an answer (from someone on Franks’ side).

At this point, voters are just left wondering.
