CL Council Has Five Candidates for Three Seats

The filings for office in the City of Crystal Lake include the three incumbents and two newcomers.

Incumebents for City Council are

  • Ralph Dawson
  • Haig Halelblian
  • Cameron Hubbard

Halelblian was apppointed to the post to replace Jeff Thorsen, who was appointed the the McHenry County Board.

In addition two leaders of the opposition to the Libary Bond Referendum have filed for the City Council:

  • Sally Munn
  • Stefano Liparoto

For City Clerk incumbent Nick Kachiroubas has no opposition in his bid for re-election.

    One person has only been there a short time.

    How long have the others been on the board?

    You don’t even know the positions of the 2 others running.

    Do your homework then make a decision!

    How about when all the county board members come up for election vote them out because they served 1 term but they are incumbents.
