Joe [Tirio] played Santa volunteering to deliver toys/groceries to Woodstock’s needy families through the  Rotary Club of Woodstock and Christmas Clearing House.~

A slimmed down Joe Tirio had to use a pillow to play Santa.

He needs a pillow in his paunch as he was a jolly, but a rather lanky Santa.

At deliveries, we were met by thank you’s, applause, gleeful children and grateful parents and best wishes for a very Merry Christmas.

The applause goes to the many that worked tirelessly, and gave generously behind the scenes for months prior to the delivery day.

They literally thought of everything!

This is such a wonderful and organized event that makes volunteering easy and expedient!

Many thanks to the Rotary Club of Woodstock and Christmas Clearing House and the many retailers, donors, Woodstock Moose, collection stations throughout the county and volunteers who made it possible to  touch many local families during trying times this Christmas Season.
