The Highest Paid McHenry County Employees

The highest paid McHenry County Employee is County Administrator Peter Austin.

The figures do not include the value of health insurance, car allowance or clothing allowance.

Peter Austin and Joseph Korpalski have $6.000 car allowances.

Austin’s salary also includes reimbursement of the employee’s share of IMRF contributions.

Richard Hill has a $4,800 a year car allowance.

Sheriff Bill Prim receives an extra $10,500, called a stipend.  All but $4,000 comes from state taxpayers.  The Sheriff also has a $950 clothing allowance.

David Devine has a $600 clothing allowance.
