Message of the Day – A Ruler

A Friend of McHenry County Blog takes us to way back land by sending me the ruler you see below:

This is a ruler used by George Lowe, Jr., as a campaign tool against Del Miller during his last campaign for Algonquin Township Road Commissioner

Below you can read the ruler’s content better:

When Del Miller passed away, the Township Board selected his son Bob to take over.

  1. This would be an excellent “tool” to promote public awareness
for the enactment of term limits.

A real collectors item as well.

Attention Conservative candidates running for office:

Please feel free to take my idea and run with it.

  2. “When Del Miller passed away, the Township Board selected his son Bob to take over.”

And we’ve been stuck with him, his wife, other family members, et al, ever since!

    How long has it been?

The Miller cheerleader(s)’s battle cry – NO ONE can be as great as Bob Miller, Gasser (or name of anyone in the future who may run against Miller) has no experience, can’t figure it out, has no field experience, is unqualified…blah, blah, blah…

    Everyone is expendable.

And in death or retirement are quickly replaced.

    The beat goes on.

    Time for a change.

    Vote Gasser!

  3. Bob Miller didn’t know what he was doing when he started. (even tho he HAD Daddy as a teacher!) guess he’s slow learner.

Andrew Gasser is a quick study and anyone who’s worked with NASA and congress can figure this stuff out.

    Gasser Probably already has.

He certainly has figured out how the township can be more efficient, he wouldn’t partake in Nepotism or hiring of friends, and he’s already demonstrated how to not spend needlessly on the county board!

He also makes himself accessible to citizens.

    This ‘ain’t rocket science folks!’

Change in Algonquin and Nunda Townships is desperately needed….

    DRAIN THE SWAMP, VOTERS!
