Illinois Democratic thug pol moves to silence blogger

Illinois Democratic thuggery reaches far beyond Chicago.

Take for instance Jack Franks of rural Marengo in McHenry County northwest of the city.

When he was a state representative it was Franks who portrayed himself as the moral compass for the Democratic Party when Rod Blagojevich was embarrassing and destroying Illinois.

But Franks is a big weenie, as Cal Skinner explains in his blog: Jack Franks moves to limit McHenry County Blog reporting.

And Franks is a bully and a chicken of Marengo.

Over a century ago Justice Louis Brandeis wrote,

“Sunlight is said to be the best of disinfectants.”

He’s right.

Let the sunshine in, Cal.
