Pro-Life PAC Endorsements in Algonquin Township — 16 Comments

  1. Tell me again what a Highway Commissioner has to do with the Right to Live.

  2. This is a bit much, what does Pro-Life have to do with Township government?

Turns me off woohen the issue is inserted to a irrelevant issue.

  3. GAS BAG GASSER IS A FRAUD AND A CHEAT. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH TOWNSHIP ELECTIONS! SINCE WHEN DO SOCIAL ISSUES MATTER ANYWAYS? THIS IS 2017!

BETTER GET YOUR 4 WHEL DRIVE OUT IF GAS BAGGER WINS! THE ROADS WILL BE RUINED!

  4. If being Pro-Life had any meaning for the Republican Party would Rauner be in office?

  5. There is so much money in Algonquin Township that a trained monkey could run it.

But since NEPOTISM is a high priority in GOVERNMENT that issue needs to go away!

    Vote out the MILLERS!

Hopefully Dirty will learn how to spell WHEEL!

And what fraud and cheat do you refer to Dirty?

  6. Dirty Gasser, you are laughably uncool and offensive.

The more you “talk” the more it pushes people to Mr. Gasser. Thank You!

    Vote Andrew Gasser!

  7. A township’s functions are building and maintaining township roads, assessing property values, and general assistance (like food pantries).

I’m not sure what abortion has to do with townships.

  8. All of you are idiots.

Do you even understand what an endorsement equals and what an endorsement piece entails?

    Get a clue you fruitbats.

The PAC has nothing to do with your issue of being stupid and on the wrong side of everything.

Yet, you persist in attacking your “strawman”.

You have no brains to even formulate how to complain about what you peceive to be an unjust threat to your stupid ideology. Yes, you are very stupid.

Keep stiking your thumb in God’s eye and whining about your non-issues.

    That’s your ticket to relativism.

You fools don’t even have any coherence on where and when to activate.

Shouldn’t you all be out demonstrating your futility with your pink hats like the rest of the idiots?

  9. “SINCE WHEN DO SOCIAL ISSUES MATTER ANYWAYS? THIS IS 2017!”

It’s moral bankruptcy such as this that has destroyed our polis.

  10. I don’t see why any election shouldn’t get into social issues.

It certainly helps let people know where candidates are coming from.

Maybe Bobby ‘Booby’ Miller should reach out to his transgendered, convicted felon and illegal alien voters demographics which support him?

  11. Re: “SINCE WHEN DO SOCIAL ISSUES MATTER ANYWAYS? THIS IS 2017!”

Maybe since we want people with a solid moral foundation to hold political office.

Unfortunately the Dumbing Down of America included almost total elimination of sound morals.

  12. Yes, I’m familiar with the sound morals thing — you can trace it back to at least Hobbes, if not further back.

Trouble is what you’re doing is judging the moral soundness of somebody because of a single endorsement.

Just because they are pro-life doesn’t automatically make them a better person.

Maybe they’re worse in every other aspect.

Maybe they’re not even better about abortion but lie about it to dupe single issue voters.

What do you even have to do to get a pro-life endorsement as a township candidate?

At least a legislator can point to bills he will oppose or support — that’s not really the case with a highway commissioner or assessor.

And by the way, if I have to vote on something like highway commissioner or assessor, that serves a very specific purpose and who is getting money via taxation, I’d actually rather pick the person who might be morally flawed but is competent at their job over a morally good person who does an awful job.

You wouldn’t hire someone in the private sector because they go to church, you’d hire them for knowing how to do their jobs.

The implications are even more in the public sector than the private sector since you can’t fire an elected official for doing a bad job, and they have you on the hook for taxes.

  13. This endorsment and the Joe Walsh endorment of Andrew, just makes the Dem party in Alg twh that much stronger.

Some people just don’t seem to want to see the big picture in this county.
