School Transgender Bathroom Bill Expected

With President Donald Trump deciding that it is not up to the Federal government to dictate what bathroom accommodations local schools should provide for transgender students, it is safe to predict that the Illinois General Assembly will see  an amendment put on a shell bill to mimic the repealed Barack Obama Administration initiative.

That will be an interesting issue to watch.

  1. If you were born a female then you go in the women’s washroom and if you were born a man you go in the men’s washroom.

  2. Jim Condon, McHenry Town Supervisor, does!

    Ask him.

He wants to appease certain liberal school board candydates by saying we need ‘trans’ washrooms in the McHenry HS. Dist.

Does he really believe in this nonsense?

Who knows…. just another politician who’ll say anything for a vote!

  3. More proof that Liberalism is a mental disorder that destroys all in
    comes in contact with.

  4. I thought my Potty Training days were over, I even disposed of my Diaper Pins . . .

now we have people with a Personal Responsibility, and they want the Federal Government to take care of it!!!

If they truly want a special interest to step in, go to the store and get Disposable Undergarments, argue with the company that makes them to have them renamed from Men Or Women to what ever you think would solve the problem.

Just imagine if John Wayne were alive, and a confused person told him they were not sure where to PEE and their feelings were hurt.

    Please leave your suggestions below.

  5. Who’s not in office anymore and said it’s up to the states to choose!

So, maybe you should move to a different state if it’s SOOO inconvenient for you, CP.

  6. @anotherwatcher

You should have saved your diaper pins.

The special snowflakes at the anti Trump protests were wearing them as some kind of sign of solidarity, and you might have been able to make some money off of them.

  7. Moderate, you might be right, although I would say his comment would be, (Well Son, I wouldn’t wait too long).

  8. Sad that Obama made executive decisions based upon his own personal life.

Thankfully Trump returned it to the states to decide.

No clue what Moderate is talking about.

  9. You are right, i mistyped.

    Obama isn’t in office.

    Trump is.

Trump said this issue should be left up to the states.

So if you are going to complain, maybe you should move to a different state.

What’s more, the order protected people from acts of violence.

Pretty sad to see Trump violate a campaign promise.

Though if my standard was to hold politicians accountable to their words, I would hold Cal responsible for not protecting gays from sexual assault in prison, something he failed to do, but championed.

  10. The bill made it to floor, but the session ended before I could get a vote.

    You misunderstand rape in prison.

    It is a dominance thing.

The rapist does not just target homosexuals.

  11. I well remember Cals fight.

Unfortunately no other politician has bothered to do anything since.

To criticize Cal for this shows that you have no inkling of what you are talking about or are too blinded by hate to be truthful.

  12. It’s terrible that anyone could be preyed on – in prison or in a bathroom…

  13. tell you what Moderate, if I were a women and in a women’s washroom with my daughter and a man came in, in drag, you better believe I would need bail money.

and as far as what John Wayne would do.

He would beat the living poop out of him or her.

  14. So voter you believe violence is the answer?

And John Wayne has been dead for may years.

Do you know some in the transgender community have had sex changes.

both Male to Female and Female to Male you can’t tell what sex they were born.

Do you know more politicians have been arrested or been in trouble in restrooms, No trans persons have ever been arrested for problems in restrooms.

If you want safety maybe we should out law politicians from using restrooms.

The transgender don’t get in trouble because they go in there to pee not to spy on others.

  15. The bathroom non-issue was just one of Obama’s pet projects.

I frankly don’t care about his own family’s sexual identity, he should have concentrated on issues like not doubling our national debt.

  16. Smitty – I personally am not worried about transgendered people in a bathroom hurting anyone.

I worry about pedophiles posing as trans – “hey today I FEEL like a girl, so I should be allowed in a girl’s restroom.”

While dems fall all over themselves to protect the trans community, who is protecting everyone else from pedophiles.

Until a trans has actually had an operation, they need to go into the restroom that matches their body part.

  17. What an unenforceable law, “Until a trans has a surgery, they need to go into a restroom that matches their body part.”

Additionally, this is not even how the military approaches the issue.

If Bradley Manning was allowed to identify as a girl and be treated differently by the US military, I think that policy can be extended to civilians.
