Competitors Sue to Stop Nuclear Power Plant Subsidy We Will Be Paying Exelon

Commercial interests that will be hurt by the bill to subsidize Exelon nuclear power plants through our election bills have filed suit.

Capitol Fax has the details here.

Crain’s characterized the suit like this:

“The competitors say the law unfairly tilts the playing field in Exelon’s favor, keeping open two plants that otherwise had announced they would close.”

The Federal law suit is here.

Com Ed bills will increase 25 cents a month starting in June.

All of our local legislators voted for the bill.
