Crystal Lake Police Announce the Arrest of a Commercial Burglary Offender
On March 3, 2017, the Crystal Lake Police Department arrested Bryan B. Botts (26 years of age) for the offenses of Burglary and Theft relating to two separate acts of burglary that occurred at Caring Family, S.C., a medical facility located at 781 McHenry Avenue, in August and September of 2016.
Crystal Lake police recovered evidence at the scene of one of the burglaries.
After a lengthy and extensive investigation, Crystal Lake detectives identified Bryan Botts as the offender.
The Crystal Lake Police Department charged Bryan B. Botts with the following criminal offenses:
- Burglary (two counts): Chapter 720, Act 5, Section 19-1(a) of the Illinois Compiled Statutes; a Class 2 Felony
- Theft: Chapter 720, Act 5, Section 16-1 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes; a Class A Misdemeanor
Bryan Botts remains confined at the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock in lieu of posting a $50,000 bond. His next court date is scheduled for April 11, 2017, at 8:30am.
