  1. I suppose Prim will endorse Gasser as well, now that Miller has lost?

  2. Gasser does not need any further support or endorsement.

Andrew Gasser is your NEW Township Highway Commissioner.

The April election is a formality.

  3. Paul accepted his endorsement?

Is Paul okay with patronage now?

  4. That is what party members usually do–endorse the winner.

Of course, some GOP Presidential candidates did not.

  5. This is truly delicious. Bill Prim will go 1 for 2 with Paul winning and Bob losing.

What we really want to know is how Bill’s biggest supporter is taking Bill endorsing her arch enemy.

    Either way Republicans look ridiculous.

  6. Thank You Sheriff Prim!

Your words echo those of my family, my neighbors and the vast majority of Lakewood.

You backed a good man in Paul!

  7. To Progressively

For those of us that aren’t in the know, can you give us a hint – who is the her/Prim biggest supporter? your comment was interesting.

  8. No one deserves it more! Yes, Good endorsement Sheriff!

Get in there and drain that Lakewood swamp Paul!

  9. Ricky R. The real answer to your real question is- Miller/voters support if Prim runs for re election; Lutzow/voters support –
Serwatka/voters support and on and on…

    Watch for more Prim endorsements.

  10. well there goes my opinion of Paul with this dude backing him… to bad… thought he was gonna be different.

  11. Serwatka is great.

Prim musta woke up after the Algonquin primary.

  12. Why does the McHenry County Sheriff, Bill Prim Endorses Paul Serwatka for Village of Lakewood President?

I really don’t understand why one publicly elected official endorses another one.

Then Bill Prim gives a statement of the endorsement on matters that are not directly impacted to his office.

    Seems like patronage.

  13. Patronage has to do with hiring that is not merit based.

I have never heard it used in an endorsement context.

  14. First line of Wiki:

“Patronage is the support, encouragement, privilege, or financial aid that an organization or individual bestows to another.”
