The Anti-Trump Walkers – Part 5

As pointed out in Saturday’s article, Trump opponents outnumbered Trump supporters in Woodstock on Saturday.

There was no way to get more than a fraction of those expressing opposition, so I took photos of folks and their signs as they crossed the street next to the Opera House.

A couple carried matching placards. One said, “Build bridges not walls,” while the message on the other one was “Equal Rights for All.”

The message on the sweat shirt is “Nevertheless She Persisted.” Another woman carries a picture of Ghandi.

People carrying American Flags following. One man seems to have four.

Two signs are visible: “Protect Our Planet” and “The Children are Watching.”

“I care for all” reads part of the man’s sign.

More tomorrow.

The Anti-Trump Walkers – Part 5 — 20 Comments

  1. Looking at all these people, I was impressed.

They believe in the American Flag and The United States Constitution and Free Speech.

Boy, after the last eight years, I thought there would be more.

  2. That’s because true Americans are at work, taking care of and providing for their families and
figuring out how to budget their bills while being forced to pay outrageous and
    confiscatory property taxes.

  3. Did everyone catch the picture of Moderate holding the poster of her idol Ghandi?

  4. That guy’s sign with the poorly placed “corporati-ons” tells me he isn’t a Soros goon.

If he were one, he’d have a better sign.

  5. Actually that’s not spelled right…
    “portati-”

Now I’m curious what that sign says.

Maybe he is just a bad speller?

  6. Joe?

I think it was done on purpose to look homespun.

    Just gave me laugh, though.

  7. Would be nice if this many people were this involved in school board and other local elections.

  8. These people either care more about foreigners that don’t belong here without permission,

    OR

This is all political, because Obama deported more illegals than all other recent Presidents combined.

They didn’t protest then and had PLENTY of time.

I’m guessing this and other protests are merely partisan displays and not to be taken seriously.

If they truly are against deporting violent illegals-that’s just stupid.

If they truly are against deporting illegals flooding our schools and welfare system, they don’t care enough about their own neighbors, family, children and fellow Americans-why should we think they’re caring at all?

  9. I know somebody who is in one of these pics.

    Definitely not paid by Soros.

That’s like saying because the Koch Brothers helped fund the Tea Party movement the whole thing is AstroTurf.

Both movements have some AstroTurf and grassroots.

  10. The deportations issue was one of the issues progs were unhappy with Obama over.

Certainly not as big of an issue as it is now that Trump is president, but it was there.

One difference is that Trump talks about deportations and the wall a lot, whereas Obama didn’t make it a central theme of his campaign, so it’s on the forefront of American political discourse now.

  11. You have to be some special kind of stupid, to display your partisanship, in a bankrupt, economic wasteland of a State, created by your own party.

  12. I agree 100% with DJ. But I would add, AND to show complete moronic hatred for a man chosen by God to display His miracle of giving us all a breather; while at the same time supporting the illegal sodomite CIA prostitute that caused all of your problems (and continues to this day) running your lives into Hell.
