Secrecy about Legitimizing Jack Franks’ Patronage Employees

From “Laugh-In”: “Ve-r-r-r-y inter-r-r-r-e-s-s-s-s-t-i-n-g.”

Take a look at the agenda for the McHenry County Board’s Human Resources Committee meeting on the Ides of March at 8:30:

NEW BUSINESS

  1. Resolution Authorizing the Reclassification of State’s Attorney’s Positions in the State’s Attorney’s Departmental Roster (not in packet)
  2. Resolution Authorizing the Reclassification of an Administration Position and the Reclassification of a Division of Transportation Position for the County Board Departmental Roster (not in packet)

“Not in packet” pretty  much exemplifies the whole patronage hiring of Oliver Serafini and Bridget Geenen.

Secrecy about Legitimizing Jack Franks’ Patronage Employees — 12 Comments

  1. Don’t forget Rauner’s love for Munger, creating a Deputy position and raiding insurance funds to pay her $130K salary.

  2. Crook County come to McHenry!

I guess I’m wrong about that though ….. Crook County came here when Big Al, a ward heeler from Chicago’s 19th Ward and Richard Daley (the Greater)minion, snuck in long, long ago.

At least now the pretenses have been dropped by Jacko ‘the lil’ liar’ Franks, who proudly prances around as a Democrat and not a RINO.

  3. Why is there a resolution about changing the job classifications?

The resolution should be to feminate the employment of these two hires.

Processes must be followed or soon McHenry County will look like Crook County.

  4. LOL Feminate the hires. Now you sound like the people “around the square”. Thanks for the guffaw.

  5. Maybe I should put my readers on before typing Cindy.

    It made me laugh too.

The real question is why my autocorrect “knows” that word; and why the committee isn’t discussing the termination of the employees.

  6. Where is the memo included with resolutions informing residents and board members of any cost increase or decrease and funding source(s)?

  7. Wish I could get a spell checker to work in here. None of my typos are that funny. (And my glasses don’t negate any of the gibberish.)

    Regular Board Meeting

    March 21, 2017 at 7PM

    – The Regular Board Meeting occurs only 5 days after the Committee of the Whole meeting.

    That is poor transparency.

The public does not have adequate time to review Committee of the Whole audio tape prior to the Regular Board meeting.

More taxpayer friendly board policy would be spacing the Regular Board Meeting 2 weeks after the Committee of the Whole meeting, as is done in some other units of government.

Placing the committee of the whole meeting close to the regular board meeting allows for less time for public scrutiny of topics discussed in the Committee of the Whole Meeting, which are then voted on at the Regular Board Meeting.

  9. He has authority Mr Rayner Jacko has to answer to many he is not a sole decider! Horses are backdoor hires

  10. Public does not have adequate time to review.
