The Anti-Trump Walkers – Part 9

Former Congressman Joe Walsh warned Trump opponents in Woodstock March 4th not to ignore the Trump opponents walking around the Woodstock Square.

(See “Joe Walsh Warns Trump Rally That Anti-Trump Demonstrators Are Like 2007 Tea Party Demonstrators.”)

Opponents outnumbered Trump supporters in Woodstock that Saturday.

There was no way to get more than a fraction of those expressing opposition in one picture, so I took photos of folks and their signs as they crossed the street next to the Opera House.

“America is our home too” says the largest sign.  There are also signs using the word “hate”:  “Hare will not make us great” and “Hate has no home here.” In the background one can see the words “Book Club.”

I walked over to the Old Courthouse and found other signs.

“Love Trumps Hate” iswhat this printed signs says.

Two signs were captured by this photo in front of Woodstock’s Old Courthouse: “Free press and the truth shall keep us free” and “We stand together.”

These two young women carry signs saying, “Choose acceptance over refusal,”and “Do not feat peace.” A man behind seems to be carrying one saying, “Common Sense.”

The Anti-Trump Walkers – Part 9 — 15 Comments

  1. Someone should have went there and sold healing crystals.

    They could have made bank.

  2. @ Joe:

Don’t know about crystals, but from time to time when some of the snowflakes wandered by you sure could smell the herb they were smoking.

Somebody did well in sales that cold but sunny day.

  3. I think they would have made more selling those silly pussy hats that the dems/liberals love so much.

There was no hate at the rally. Advising security measures and financial security measures for our own citizens is not hate.

  4. Bunch of misguided fools who don’t get enough attention at home.

There was no hate at the rally, however there WERE a Bunch of BABY KILLERS AMONG THESE PROTESTERS!

How is that not hate at its absolute worst!

  5. Remember, nobody feels more love and compassion for anchor babies than my compassionate conservative friends. Their mission is one of love…Tic tock, tic tock…

  6. Healing Crystals & Pipe Dreams.
The mission is to confuse & complicate while a clock tic tocks away.

  7. While not supporting the subsidized slaughter of millions of babies, we do pay for the support of millions of anchor babies through our taxes.

    Somehow, you are righteous?

    The hypocrisy is sickening.

  8. Undocumented immigrants pay billions in taxes; all kinds of taxes. And a significant part of those taxes go to the manufacture and use of bombs that are dropped in foreign countries killing thousands of adults and babies. Who cries for that subsidized slaughter of babies? Nonsense conservatives; unable to see beyond the boundaries of beautiful McHenry county. Is the wall ready yet? tic tock, tic tock…

  9. No person with a heart likes slaughter of innocents so it is very difficult to understand those who march in support of subsidized abortion.

The legal slaughter of millions of babies by those on the left is hypocrisy at its worst.

While all major governments engage in war mongering, there are few or none here marching in support of it.

  10. As far as undocumented immigrants paying so much.

When it comes to paying at Centegra for health care, the majority pays nothing.

    Zero.

We pick up that Bill as well.

  11. Obsessed with abortion and crying because alive human beings receive health care. Nonsense!

  12. Pay for it like the rest of us.

It’s pathetic when Centegra asks the patient to pay $100 for expensive treatment and is refused.

    $20 refused. $10 refused. $5 refused.

    Pay your damn share!
