Free Dinner Thursday Night for Lakewood Residents

I didn’t know that Paul Serwatka was a “free lunch” kind of guy, but he offers a free dinner to Lakewood residents this Thursday night in the following email:

This Thursday, March 16th 6pm -8pm at Lou Malnati’s – 8515 Redtail Dr.

Come Meet (and Possibly Support)

The Team That’s Committed To Restoring Accountable Government
& Lowering Property Tax Burdens for Lakewood Families

The Lakewood Tax-Fighter
& Better Government Team
Meet & Greet / Fundraiser

This Thursday, 6-8pm, I sincerely hope you can come meet, and show your support for, our team and all of our efforts, past, present – and with YOUR support – FUTURE.

Trustee candidates, Phil Stephan, Richard Ritchie and Amy Fues Odom, along with myself, invite you to come have some complimentary pizza and soft drinks with us (cash bar is available), to meet us, get to know us and, perhaps even, support us in our mission to restore accountable government in our village.

Our team has already spent countless hours and invested thousands of dollars in our efforts toward better government in Lakewood, including our recent, and historically successful, Property Tax Advisory Referendum.

Now, to assure the success of our “Lakewood Tax-Fighter Team” campaign toward restoring accountability to our village board, we will need to spend several thousand dollars more.

Signs, Mailers, Hand-outs, Social Media, etc all add up!

And, we only have a few weeks left!!

Please stop by and meet the team, this thursday. And please understand that contributions, while greatly appreciated, are by no means required.

We really just want everyone to come meet the TEAM, ask questions, and get to know us. If you’re able to contribute, then all the better!

For those who would like to contribute, but are unable to attend, contributions can made on our website, by credit-card via PayPal, or by check, by simply clicking HERE.

Special Guests

Schedules permitting (since we’re doing this on such short notice), we have tentative commitments from three proud supporters/special guests, to attend, for you to meet as well.

– McHenry County Sheriff, Bill Prim
– McHenry County State’s Attorney, Patrick Kenneally
– McHenry County Ethics Commissioner, John J.W. Guanci

– Come, have some complimentary pizza & soft drinks
(cash bar available),

– Meet “The Lakewood Tax-Fighter Team”

– Meet our Sheriff, State’s Attorney and Ethics Commissioner

*** Remember, our success at this April 4th election will be a victory for ALL Lakewood residents.

We hope to see you Thursday!

Free Dinner Thursday Night for Lakewood Residents — 3 Comments

  1. The three of you, Prim, Kenneally and Guanci, ought to know better.

This shows very bad judgment on your part.

  2. First a chicken in every pot, now a pizza in every mouth. Buying votes one slice at a time.

  3. Buying votes? of course! I mean who ever heard of a political fundraiser serving food?

Next, this lunatic will be knocking on doors and sending mail! Good God! What is political campaigning coming to?
