Former Congressman Joe Walsh warned Trump opponents in Woodstock March 4th not to ignore the Trump opponents walking around the Woodstock Square.

Opponents outnumbered Trump supporters in Woodstock that Saturday.
There was no way to get more than a fraction of those expressing opposition in one picture, so I took photos of folks and their signs as they crossed the street next to the Opera House.
“Democracy is not a spectator sport” the easiest to read sign says.
“Woodstock was with her (meaning Hillary Clinton.” That’s what the woman’s sign says.

Look in the lower right hand corner of this photo and you’ll see a sign saying, “Human Rights Not Al-Rights.”

The Woodstock Police Department had a significant presence, but there were no problems that I saw.

Actually, many of our forefathers came before there were any laws regulating immigration into the USA.
Laws began in the latter part of the 19th century and became most restrictive in the 1920’s.
So don’t be presuming what status the “forefathers” had………….
We are a nation of laws. America First!!! and Americans First-in their own country!!!!
Come here legally and become citizens with no dual citizenship and we will gladly accept you as an American to put first, otherwise we have so many problems on the list, you cannot be a priority, sorry!
And yes this group came in and put ribbons with the names of all the immigrants here illegally that they want to be able to stay. I took pictures and submitted to INS. The Spirit of America Rally goers and planners had to clean up the litter they hung in all the shrubbery the night before. Ridiculous protesters, litterers and law breakers! But stupid also. Thanks for all those names, first and last of those in the county illegally!

I have been to Ellis Island in the past year, I know a little about immigration.
Mr. Trump or the Republicans are certainly not opposed to immigration, only unrestrained admittance to our country without necessary determination as to who you are and what is your intention with respect to your future residency.
The modern word, is vetting.
While the “protesters” want everyone to think that somehow the new Administration is stopping immigration, that is not the case and the “silent majority” knows this and fully supports our new President.
Total lies and baloney are their catchwords. We are not ALL immigrants. I am not an immigrant. I was born here. Three generations ago, my paternal grandparents were sponsored to come here. They followed all the rules and legally became citizens through the proper channels. No one sneaked in the country illegally in my heritage. Maybe if we all used our rich and diverse language properly, some of these fools might understand the difference between alien and immigrant. Illegal and legal. They only argue from a fool’s perspective because they are so totally ignorant of the language and our laws. Let us not help the ignorant by even presuming they understand the English language. Let us not be ignorant of our own laws. Even Mr. Stupid “English as a second language” has no clue how to speak or write properly. He seems to have Tourette’s with his constant tic. He is a fraud. Let us not bastardize our own system with their grievous folly.
