Appointed Richmond Township Supervisor Getting Almost 50% of the Vote for Election Over Two Other Candidates

Paul Hain, appointed Richmond Township Supervisor when the Supervisor died, ran for election to a four-year term.

Opposition came from former Township Supervisor Tamera Valentine-Garza and Ardie Arnold, Jr.

With two precincts not have been designated counted by the McHenry County Clerk’s Office at 11:30 Tuesday night,

  • Hain had 49.6%,
  • Valentine-Garza 34.6% and
  • Arnold 15.7%.
