During the Human Resources Committee meeting this past week, McHenry County Board member Michele Aavang mentioned that she had received some post cards from constituents urging her to support Jack Franks’ efforts to make county government more efficient.
I haven’t seen the post card, but presumably one of the desires of the Franks’ supporters is that the County Board roll over and play dead concerning Franks’ hiring of two patronage workers against County Board rules.
A Friend of McHenry County Blog took the time to compose the following post card which the Friend hopes will be printed and mailed to people’s four County Board members.
The address is 2200 N. Seminary, Woodstock, IL 60098.
Be sure to put your name and address on it.
Or course the message could also be mailed in an envelop.
You can find the names of your County Board members here.
At that link you will see the following:

I’m not a real fan of post card campaigns.
I think phone calls have more impact.
Phone numbers can be found at the link above, too.
Aavang, Mary McCann and Kay Bates are among those who have indicated support for the irregular patronage hiring by Jack Franks.
And these three have to go.
They can’t even see fit to follow their own county board rules!!!
How is allowing the cost of the County Board Chairman position to triple going to set with the tax payers?
Hmmmmmm? Tick Tock, Tick Tock
This is an outrageous violation of copyright laws. Sunshine blogger, please get to the bottom of this, for the sake of free market and capitalism. 2018, are you here already? Tic tock, tic tock…
Which information is alleged to be copyright protected.
Just a gues Mark but my guess is those photos aren’t public domain
Those photos are hot links from the County’s server, and Cal provided a direct link back to the original page.
There’s no copyright violation.
God you people are really reaching!!!
If you’re a public official, your official picture is open and public.
Get a grip.
The photos above are alleged to be copyright protected?
Doubtful, as the photos are on the McHenry County website.
The McHenry County website is a government website funded by taxpayers.

Compassionate conservatives always clueless; the copyright violation happened after using my “Tic, tock” brand phrase without permission. Free markets are under siege. Sunshine blogger, please get to the bottom of this. Tic, tock, tic, tock…
Mr. Llavona is claiming he has copyright protection on some combination of a tic, tock phrase?
