Hultgren on Withdrawal from Paris Climate Accord

A press release from Congressman Randy Hultgren:

Hultgren Statement on Withdrawal from Paris Climate Agreement

Washington, DC — U.S. Representative Randy Hultgren (IL-14) released a statement today following President Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord:

“We are called to be good stewards of the environment, properly using our natural resources for the benefit of humanity and the planet.

“America has long led the world in developing new, cleaner technologies that protect the environment and help create jobs—regardless of government mandates or country agreements. That tradition of leading in energy innovation and reduction in emissions will continue.

“This agreement should have required Senate ratification.

“I look forward to the President continuing to negotiate foreign policy that puts America first and brings treaties before Congress.

“In Congress, I will continue encouraging energy solutions that promote good stewardship of the environment, provide Americans with true options and bring jobs back to the United States. Innovation, not regulation, remains the answer for lower emissions.

“I will continue supporting our national labs like Argonne that are making energy storage a realistic solution for bringing intermittent renewables online in a modern energy system.”

  1. Blah, blah, blah. Really disappointed that Randy appears to be so stupid as to believe this crap..

  2. More on randy hultgren’ statement (lower case intended): “I am an incompetent stooge too coward to point out the truth about this disastrous decision. We are proud to join the company of Syria and Nicaragua in the trio of global climate change deniers. Please vote for me; I am a real leader” 2018, why is it taking so long…tic, tock, tic, tock…

  3. Here is our sexual-assaulter-in-chief tronald dump’s statement on the withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement: “nobody knew climate change could be so complicated. Now back to all-night-tweeting” 2018, are you here yet? Tic, tock, tic, tock…

  4. Global warming/global cooling has been going on for thousands, tens of thousand years.

How can data from the last ten, twenty, fifty, hundred of years be attributed to man made global warming when climates have changed from ice age to tropical without man made changes?

Yes, look at alternate energy sources, but don’t subsidize it with taxpayer money.

If private investment can’t make it profitable, it is not an alternative.

In my memory, and from reading past history, Barak Obama is the first immediate past president to comment on his successor’s actions, let alone so viscously attacked them.

  5. This isn’t about global climate at all. Look up SERCO and follow the pedophiles that are running all the attacks around the world and start putting two and two together. Your time is short to garner information. Be wise. Get knowledgable before you are shut out completely.

  6. The Paris Climate Accord like China, India, and others to play on a less than level playing field with us.
When the playing field is level for all, like trade deals, then the game is fair.

  7. OMG the responses remind me how backwood McHenry people believe right wing propaganda. America is digressing each day with DRUMPF in office.

  8. Wow DMAC. You cannot possibly be that stupid. You were just saved from a horrendous new world order agenda. You were just saved from your utilities sky-rocketing. You were just saved untold rate hikes on fuel. You were just saved from being under the thumb of the global regime. And your response is to to call propaganda? How stupid are you?

  9. Yes Climate Change goofs.

Let spend a trillion dollars, to clean up after the rest of the world, to lower temps 1/1000 of degree in 80 years.

I guess you youngsters don’t remember the days, when the Chicago area produced more steel than anywhere in the world.

Didn’t need to check the news if the economy was good, just stick your head out the window and smell the Coke Battery’s churning out thier productive stench.

Production in Chicago now is staring at computer screens, searching for some Public Sector job.

  10. Makes sense. That is why spending trillions of dollars in never-ending global war is making us safe. 2018, are you here yet? Tic, tock, tic, tock…

  11. In the 1970’s when the wind was from the southeast, one could smell surfer in the air in Crystal Lake.

I, for one, am pleased that no longer happens.

  12. Exactly right Cal. That smell was food on my table growing up.

Now, for your pleasure, Gary, E. Chicago, Hammond, S Chicago are all wastelands. Courtesy of the Global “Cooling” nuts of the 70’s.

  13. More from our sexual-assaulter-in-chief regarding climate change: “Where is a Nero when you need one? Make America burn our planet again”! 2018, are you here yet? tic, tock, tic, tock…

  14. But the Washington Post is a wholly owned new world order agenda paper that prints out-and-out lies. It’s kind of like telling them to go read a piece at the NWH because it isn’t known for propanganda. LOL I think you all are missing the point on how dangerous this Oblablah agenda really was (IS). It has NOTHING to do with carbon emissions or anything global except your further enslavement.

  15. For your screen name you are not connecting the dots very well. Go listen to the link I posted.

  16. Who needs the Washington Post or any other news outlet when we have the McHenry county, tax-fighters, sunshine blog commenters to save us all from the enslavement of information and facts? 2018, why is it taking so long? Tic, tock, tic, tock…

  17. Yep, it’s the communist pedophile CEOs from the following companies, and many more who are stupid enough to believe that the majority of scientists, religious leaders, and the US Military are either ignorant or are evil conspirators. here is a partial list–

  18. You have no idea how much you are missing, Drunken. There are entities above those that are really pushing the buttons. You have only scratched the surface of the veneer.

  19. I will hold on to my sunshine blog (the most trusted name in news) regardless of how many facts are presented to me. “Facts are for idiots.” Who said that? 2018, how much longer we need to wait? We need a twister of votes to sweep away randy and peter…tic, tock, tic, tock…

  20. The deal was a bad deal!

The US was forking over billions of dollars to other countries to maybe comply.

It was a non binding treaty because President Obama by passed Congress.

You know Congress that part that you need to pass a treaty.

So we are getting out of nothing except we are not going to pay more money from our taxpayers that the other countries will just pocket anyways.

And lets see we abide by the treaty.

So manufacturing is so over regulated that products have to be built somewhere.

Now where can we go oh yeah China, India etc..

So now that product is being made in another country, jobs go there, and we still get the product at Walmart.

Less jobs in USA, more jobs in a country that could care less about global warming, and more money in there pockets.

    Yeah that make sense.

LOL And anyone that does not understand business you are an idiot.

The US has done a pretty good job policing themselves.

New technology keeps getting better so I am not worried about us.

But you can’t force others to police themselves.
