Found this notice outside the Town Hall Meeting of Democratic Party candidate for Governor Ameya Pawar in Harvard yesterday:

Women to March at Woodstock Square Saturday — 23 Comments

  1. Thanks for the input, “In The NO” and “Doodie”(DBA anonymous cowards); you’ll find comfort when you finally overdose on your synthetic opioid prescriptions, mercifully removing your miserable selves from our midst. #

MAGA and grind up another oxycodone, won’t you?

    You snort, I’ll cheer.

  2. I suspect it will be more of a stroll, a spirited saunter at best. Very few have the gait fluidity to accomplish a sustained march.

This is due mostly to collusion with the Russians and the noted absence of S&H Green Stamps these days.

I’m going to my safe space now for more moral self-licensing and a snack of gluten-free self importance as I plot my plan to prove once and for all that I am the most selfless victim martyr of all time.

  3. If it is a nice day plenty of men will be happy, probably treating themselves to a round of golf or a pint or two putting the honey list on hold.

Keep marching ladies, your husbands deserve the break.

  4. The unwashed will gather on a hot humid day in their pink pussy hats and period stained pants to further pollute a deteriorating town and accomplish nothing, but hold a gender neutral version of a circle jerk a la public square.

In this country you have the right to be misguided enough to rant about wanting the ‘right’ to kill more babies, hug terrorists and claim victimhood where woman have more rights than anywhere else in the world.

(While simultaneously wanting to usher in more Islamist refugees that would gladly slit their throats for even thinking of driving, getting an education, leaving the house unescorted or being dressed in anything but a repressive burka.)

The headline of this post should more accurately read “Ignorance on Full Display in Woodstock Today”

  5. I had no idea there were so many “incels” that read the McHenry County Blog!

For those of you who aren’t keeping up with the alt-right, once I means “involuntary celibates.”

It’s what those sad woman-hating men call themselves instead of the more common term “losers who live in mom’s basement and can’t get a girlfriend because they are creepy misogynists.”

  6. Joel, you must be speaking of mommy’so boy Andrew Gasser, right?

  7. Sounds like a great pity party event for useful idiots.

    For the rest of us:

Algonquin Township (Andrew Gasser-Hwy Commissioner) is looking for volunteers to help fill sandbags starting at 3:00 p.m. today.

If You Are Able To Volunteer Today, Please Call The Algonquin Township Office At 847-639-2700 or just stop by wearing work clothes/shoes.

Or if you can’t do physical labor or don’t have time , donated bottled water would be so appreciated.

According to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, it appears that all locations on the river are cresting at this time.

Although there is still uncertainty in the path of the storms forecast for Friday night and Saturday, the current center of the rainfall has shifted further east toward the Fox River from this morning’s forecast.

This increases the forecast rainfall estimates to 1.5” – 3” during that time frame.

  8. I’m sure Cal will be present with camera in hand to show us
what we missed while we were busy working, taking care of our families
and dealing with day to day life.

  9. McHenry County Voters – Independents, Republicans, moderate/sensible Democrats – should take note that it was the Democratic Party of McHenry County that endorsed and condoned the Woodstock March of July 22, 2017.

It apparently wants to emulate the pointless and ridiculous women marches that occurred on January 21, 2017.

An article in yesterday’s Northwest Herald said:

“The worldwide Women’s March took place Jan 21 and has been followed by numerous sister marches, including some in Chicago, Rockford and Elgin. Members of the Democratic Party of McHenry County went to the march in Washington D.C., 6 months ago and came away motivated to effect change said Cathy Johnson, co-organizer of the Woodstock women’s march”.

The Women’s March of January 21, 2017 was organized by a number of far left wing extremist organizations and individuals such as Soros.

Some of the extremists who spoke in D.C. included a popular singer named Madonna. She spoke on CNN TV live and invoked the F Bomb 3 times.

After the 3rd time, the CNN moderator broke in and apologized to viewers for the language by Madonna.

    Some Madonna quotes:

“I’m angry. Yes, I’m outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House”, said Madonna.

“Are you ready to shake up the world”?

“It took this horrific moment of darkness to wake us the F*** up”.

“And to our detractors who insist that this march will never add up to anything, F*** you”. Madonna paused for a moment and then loudly repeated, “F*** you”.

The January 21, 2017 March in Washington D.C. took place one day after President Obama left office.

An office that he presided for EIGHT YEARS.

If the status of women in the U.S. is as bad as the left wing extremists claim, then President Obama must take a good amount of responsibility for their perceived standing.

No doubt some women who participate in these marches are sincere about something or other. Misguided, misinformed, ignorant, etc?

Perhaps they can be described as “useful idiots”. WIKI defines this term as “a person perceived as a propagandist for a cause the goals of which they are not fully aware of, and who is used cynically by the leaders of the cause”.

  10. Say Cal Skinner. What does it take to get a post approved by you?

I have seen a lot of nonsense and derogatory posts in the past ON YOUR BLOG that you, or someone you have appointed, have allowed.

You or someone pulled down a post I made within the last half hour that would have easily passed scrutiny on numerous and decent websites.

Will you let this post stand AND respond to it or merely knock it down?

  11. When one makes one’s first comment, the program I use automatically puts it into moderation.

After I approve the first comment is approved the rest go up automatically.

    Sorry for your frustration.

  12. I won’t be there.

Hope others may send pictures I can post.

  13. Take pics of this event, And break my camera lens?

    Fagettabowdit!

  14. Most of the comments are from little old men who fear a strong woman.

They also fear freedom and thoughtful dissent from thoughtful Americans who don’t see the world from their myopic views. Sad little guys without much brain power who are bitter.

Cal’s history and comments regarding women political opponents put him right with these fools.

  15. Tom don’t be ridiculous.

We don’t ‘fear freedom or thoughtful dissent’.

We actually think everyone should be concerned

the Leftist Fascists are trying their hardest to take away Freedom or thoughtful dissent!

Insults with no accuracy make you look like a fool in a man bun walking 5 paces behind some woman muttering ‘yes dear’.

Anyway, as a Woman and a Woodstock resident who visited a Woodstock Business on the Square today at 3:30, the business wasn’t even aware there was any kind of March or event of any kind.

Guess you could say this was a total flop!

  16. Lani, I Why would a thoughtful woman want to take away your freedom?

Why is a woman who attends an event for women be considered a fascist?

Lani, you say insults with no accuracy; read the comments.

    Enough said.

    Did you see the event?

I attended, and there were about one hundred folks there.

It was a peaceful and fun event.

I am glad that folks didn’t see it as a disruption.

But, I will add you fit right in with the posters above.

You are very fearful of those who are different.

    Let man buns rule. 🙂

  17. Democratic party is nothing more then domestic terrorists/enemies of the working families whom they tax into poverty by design.

I encourage people to go and watch.

Important to know who you’re enemies are.

  18. If you think I am afraid of strong women, you don’t know my wife.

  19. Wow. The posts got worse as they went along. It’s hard to take y’all seriously when you call a peaceful gathering of citizens domestic terrorists and lesbians just because you disagree with them.

And Bred, no one person speaks for everyone in a movement even if she’s Madonna.

There are wackos on both sudes…just look at some of the comments here.
