Tyler Mikan Joins McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office
Tyler Mikan
Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, is pleased to announce that Tyler Mikan has joined the Office as an Assistant State’s Attorney in the Criminal Division.
Mr. Mikan completed his Juris Doctor at Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago, Illinois.
Prior to joining our Office, Tyler interned in the Will County State’s Attorney’s Office and the Will County Public Defender’s Office.
During law school, Mr. Mikan was on the Dean’s list, and was the champion of the 2017 Midwest Regional National Trial Competition.
Tyler graduated Magna Cum Laude from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law, Politics & Society and a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric.
He was the recipient of the Presidential Achievement Scholarship for four years and made the Drake University President’s list.
We look forward to working with Mr. Mikan as he helps further our mission of
doing justice on behalf of the residents of McHenry County.
