Algonquin Township Supervisor Chuck Lutzow emailed me the Township Board agenda and packet for tonight’s 7 PM meeting.
Included were expenditures for the six months ending September 30th.
Here’s what each official has spent:
- Supervisor – $21,454.00
- Highway Commissioner – $111,884.40
- Assessor – $4,452.02
- Clerk – $36,642.50
These figures reach back beyond the beginning of the incumbents’ terms.
Would Local 150 fight as hard for rank and file workers as Bob Miller’s family?
Doubt it.

The agenda has an item for treasurer’s report and audit of bills, neither of which are in the agenda packet.
An “Appropriation & Expenditure Report, Year to Date Performance, September 2017 – Current Month” is in the agenda packet.
On the bottom of each of those four pages is listed, “YTD Variance Performance Income Statement.”
Thank God my taxes went up like everyone else’s to cover the legal bills cuz that’s where tax money supposed to be spent.

Locking up all the lawyer’s would work for me.
