Defenders Book Sale at Algonquin Township Coming Up

ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENDERS’ USED BOOK SALE, September 22 through October 7

WOODSTOCK – The Environmental Defenders of McHenry County are holding their annual Big Fall Book Sale at the Algonquin Township Highway Department garage at 3702 US Highway 14 in Crystal Lake. Sale Dates and Times:

THOUSANDS of books available including Fiction, Non-Fiction, History, Biography, Religion, Philosophy, Books for Children and Teens, Self-Help, Travelogues, Sports, Entertainment, Cookbooks, Crafts, Music, Art & Photography, Foreign Language, Poetry, Short Stories, and SO MUCH MORE!!

Donations of re-sellable books are accepted year round at the Defenders’ Green Spot Used Book store, located in the Woodstock Square Mall building on the main floor.

Proceeds from the sale benefit the Environmental Defenders of McHenry County, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and improvement of the environment. The group provides community residents with educational programs and volunteer action on pollution prevention, sustainable land use and energy and natural resource conservation.

Donations are encouraged and are tax-deductible as charitable contributions.
