  1. According to this site, Jews do not believe that the fetus has any legal rights until it is born so Franks’ current stance is surprising.

    http://www.myjewishlearning.com/article/the-fetus-in-jewish-law/

“An unborn fetus in Jewish law is not considered a person (Heb. nefesh, lit. “soul”) until it has been born. The fetus is regarded as a part of the mother’s body and not a separate being until it begins to egress from the womb during parturition (childbirth). In fact, until forty days after conception, the fertilized egg is considered as “mere fluid.” These facts form the basis for the Jewish legal view on abortion. Biblical, talmud ic, and rabbinic support for these statements will now be presented.”

  2. Here is the legacy that Phat Jack and his fellow DEMOCRAT travelers have wrought
upon the working middle class of Illinois, from the Chicago Tribune no less.

Yet not one so called reporter from the Chicago Fake News Liberal Media dares to ask
any DEMOCRAT what they think about this article.

Will WBBN ask Franks this question ?

We already know the answer to that question now, don’t we ?

  3. Why wasn’t our paparazzi sunshine blogger allowed in the studio during this softball interview to take the necessary in-your-face pictures from his “guest of honor” seat? I see another scandal brewing here. Sunshine blogger, get to the bottom of this…tic, tock, tic, tock…

  4. From this interview I have concluded Jack D. Franks is definitely a Democrat. Tic, tock, tic, tock…

  5. On behalf of our tax fighter-freeloader-sunshine blogger, sunshine commenters, and the entire readership of this compassionate conservative sunshine blog (estimated by cyberspace experts to be around 16 people), I want to extend the very best wishes to our county board Chairman Jack D. Franks on his 54th birthday tomorrow. McHenry county has the honor to have one of the most prominent politicians and public servants in our state serving as Chairman of our county board and we enthusiastically honor and celebrate that privilege. We thank Mr. Jack D. Franks for conducting county business with leadership, forevision, sensibility, honesty, and wisdom; all this despite the plague of a bitter irresponsible irrelevant blogger posting every ridiculous story imaginable to sabotage and discredit his work. We wish Mr. Jack D. Franks and his entire family a very happy and joyous moment of celebration as well as continued success in his leadership role as our county board now and in the future. 2018, are you here yet? Tic, tock, tic, tock…

  6. Fallen Angel, your, never ending, contributions to the New World Disorder is creating a backlash like you have never seen before. Tic, Tock, tic, tock is your clock running out of time.

  7. It’s hard to believe that Jacko is only going to be 54.

He looks a lot older than that.

  8. I have to admit I am confused by the above.

Cal’s lead-in says that Franks was critical of Rauner’s recent actions; the comments attack him (or rather, his faith) as being pro-abortion.

When Jack ran for State Rep and beat Mike Brown, he pledged that he was against partial birth abortion and taxpayer funded abortions, and would vote accordingly.

  9. A very happy birthday to our beloved McHenry County Chairman Mr. Jack D. Franks on behalf of all sunshine commenters and the sunshine blogger himself. We support you and thank you for your leadership. Tic, tock, tic, tock…
