Wonder Lake Woman Who Stabbed Man Arrested

Sheriff’s Office Investigates Wonder Lake Stabbing October 30, 2017

A quarrel in Wonder Lake Sunday night ended with a 36-year-old man hospitalized while deputies located and arrested a 33-year-old woman.

At approximately 9:15 p.m., McHenry County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a reported stabbing in the 7400 block of Maple Drive in unincorporated Wonder Lake.

Upon their arrival, deputies encountered a 36-year-old man, who stated that he had been stabbed by Heather Bradigan, 33, after an argument.

Heather had fled the scene prior to the deputies’ arrival. A search of the area was conducted by the deputies assisted by the Wonder Lake Police Department and Ms. Bradigan was eventually located in the 7400 block of Hancock Drive in Wonder Lake. The victim was transported by ambulance to Centegra Hospital in McHenry with minor injuries and is in stable condition. Heather was arrested and charged with Aggravated Battery and Aggravated Battery to the Peace Officer.

Charges:

  • Aggravated Battery (class 2)
  • Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer (class 2)
  • Resisting Arrest (class A)

Bond: $75,000 Next Court Date: November 1, 2017 at 9:00 a.m.

The charges against this individual are merely allegations against her. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
