Hebron Man Arrested Child Sex Crimes Get Five More Charges

Additional Sex Crime Charges added vs. Esau Ancheyta-Hernandez

November 3, 2017 Five additional counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Victim Under 13 were lodged late last week against Esau Ancheyta-Hernandez, 26, of Hebron, and his bond was increased to $3,000,000 after he arrived at the McHenry County Adult Correctional Facility.

The original incident in October led to a 10-day manhunt involving a large multi-jurisdictional search across state lines.

He was ultimately located in Ames, Iowa, and was subsequently transported to McHenry County.

The five additional charges were lodged Wednesday.

The case began when the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance in 12000 block of Hebron Road in unincorporated Hebron.

Upon arrival, the responding deputies were informed that Ancheyta-Hernandez had sexually assaulted a child at that residence.

After being confronted by family members, Ancheyta-Hernandez fled on foot from the scene.

Arrested: Esau Ancheyta-Hernandez, Male, 26, Hebron, Illinois

Charges:

  •  6 total counts-Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Victim Under  13 (class X)

Bond: $3,000,000

Next Court Date: November 16th at 9:00 a.m.

The charges against this individual are merely allegations against him. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
