  1. Flavin will probably get ’em, but he’ll run as a donkey, although he’s a Franks-hating donkey.

  2. Flavin should run as a donkey.

He’d have a much better chance.

If either McClellan or Demetri win the primary, there are lots of Republicans who will consider voting for a Dem.

The Old Guard Republicans don’t like the Algonquin Township faction, and nobody who has been paying attention wants McClellan in there.

  3. Flavin is smart, waiting for the last spot on the ballot….

    good for about 5%….

Wilbrandt is the most qualified by far.

  4. I for one will be voting for McClellan.

I have watched McClellan since she worked for McHenry County and in private practice.

She is a strong lawyer with a great knowledge of the law.

She has always been about saving the tax payer money and I am in favor of that.

She brings what McHenry lost when McIntrye retired.

    GO MARY!

  5. Wilbrandt actually graduated from a top law school.(Northwestern)

That’s quite rare amongst the political hacks who make up the majority of the judges in this county.

  6. @Pacco

We have enough judges with baggage in this county.

We don’t need to add one who’s been sanctioned for misconduct by two federal judges and had the sanctions order upheld by the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals.

  7. Sanctions don’t bother me.

I believe a good attorney when they have complex litigation are going to encounter these types of conflicts.

Like many others who practice law if there was anything to worry about the Illinois attorney regulation on attorney’s Would have taken action.

But in this case there was no action taken.

  8. A good law school does not make a good lawyer.

That just means someone who comes from money.

The problem with an argument that a top law school makes a better lawyer usually means the person has a tough time with being able to understand the average person or has social issues that don’t let the person work well in society.

We don’t need a superior class of people being the judge of the average person.

What we need is a person who can follow the law and apply the law as justice should be blind folded. Wilbrandt is not blindfolded and has his own baggage.

McClellan is the better choice she proven she is hard working and any attorney who has worked with her will tell you the same thing.

She is well respected and admired in her accomplishments.

  10. Pacco?

Apparently, you have no idea what you are talking about.

She was sanctioned for LYING to the court!

How would that make her a good attorney?

    Your trust is very misplaced.

Your argument sounds as stupid as those that say “If it was bad for you the government would not let them sell it.”

You probably also believe the government will always take care of you; so you do not need to worry.

This is the kind of thinking that has gotten us into this terrible state of affairs.

  11. It’s astounding there are nitwits touting the incompetent McClellen.

  12. Pacco and County Employee:

How long have you had your head in the sand?

It’s one thing to have “knowledge of the law” but another to follow it.

?”saving money” – election day disasters were costly.

County Employee: “well respected and admired in her accomplishments”

    what respect?

    and what accomplishments?

You two must be living on another planet.

  13. Wilbrandt is a arrogant snob with a silver spoon!

McClellen can’t run an election, hired her husband as a patronage hire the first month, another Jack Franks minion etc..,

Demetri is a class act, worked hard to get to where he is and respected.

One of the most knowledgeable, fair and conservative value people running for any judge race in McHenry County!

You see how the court systems are now a days!

    My vote is for Demetri!

  14. There was no lying she was telling the court what the client was saying you did not read the case.

  15. Demetri is your guy if you need a traffic ticket worked on.

He has no experience and no one in the court house wants him to be a judge he ran for judge and lost once he should just go away.

Wilbrandt needs to go never should have been appointed.

What McHenry county needs are judges who know the law but most important they will follow the law. McClelan has always followed the law I support Mary .

  16. Oh, I read the case! You are believing in liars.

I was astounded at what she actually thought she could get away with.

    Demetri has no experience?

You mean as in lying and trying to pull one over in Crook County?

You mean with fixing the elections so that no one was available when the machines broke down?

The machines that she put her husband in charge of?

What kind of a scam are you trying to run here?

She has followed no laws but her own.

    This is not judge material.

This is a wish list for her to fulfill because she stinks at everything else she has tried to do.

  17. Pacco you just made my point! No one in the court house wants him to be judge. Hence a great reason to vote for him. And btw are you saying that Demetri doesn’t follow the law? Just curious how many bench trials has Demetri, McClellan and Wilbrandt done?

  18. Interesting that Pacco & County Employee only chime in when Mary Mchellen is mentioned.

    Maybe it’s Mary herself.

Still waiting for Stand4crap to say something.

  19. It will be interesting to see the results of the Bar Association poll of most of the lawyers.

All lawyers have an interest in the Judiciary being knowledgeable, fair and unbiased.

I will wait and use that poll as my guide.

  20. The Bar Association poll was not kind to Demetri when he ran against Cowlin.

The sanctions tell me all I need to know about McClellan.

I’ll be interested to see what the poll says about Wilbrandt.

  21. Veronica says no vote for Mary.

Like a lot of elected offices had to hire her relative so he’d muck up the voting machines and have a law suit against him for sexual innuendos toward a female employee of hers’.

    WAY TO GO MARY!

Lots of laws there to figure out.

  22. PACCO, of course you would say this crap, you’re McClusterfnck’s husband.

  23. Excuse me while I dry heave at the thpught of Mary McTrouble as an actual county judge.

Didn’t we learn anything about people who hire there spouses from the on going Miller gang fiasco?

Never mind didt she leave Crook county with a 6 figures bill for lying and being sanctioned for her incompetence? And she couldnt even hold an election without screwing it up.

Anyone spouting flowery crap about her is either related to her or works for her.

No rational person wouold even consider her as worthy of being a judge!

    idiots!

  24. The Judges are basically all insider trading.

It is some sort of peaking order and if you are not in line with them they will never recommend you! It is one of the worst ways to get judges!

They are mostly elitists themselves come from silver spoon being lawyers i.e. Wilbrandt, Sullivan etc..

That was the way it was with politicians for many years a peaking order.

Now that has changed and think the way judges are chosen should be to!

Republicans need good, honest, conservative judges that follow the constitution!

    Demetri is that person!

McClellan is in with Jacko and has a bad track record of only thinking about herself!

Wilbrandt is arrogant as they come.

This should be a no brainer electing Demetri for this position.

  25. Whynot, you make me laugh bc you make so much sense arguing with nitwits like Mary ‘Pacco’ McClellan and further exposing their idocies.

The courthouse is a sad joke ….. just ask Judge Shlemiel.

  26. The advantage of ballot position needs 6-8 candidates to kick in.

  27. I must say that I am pleased to read that so many of you know the true colors of McClellan.

You all are giving me faith in reestablishing McHenry County government in the right direction.

We need, must, remove our County from the cancer that is spreading throughout our County, and not voting for McClellan is a good start.
