One Lake in the Hills Village Trustee, Ray Bogdanowski, Pays Own Way to Illinois Municipal League Conference in Chicago

Through the efforts of a local citizen’s Freedom of Information request, McHenry County Blog has learned that one of the Lake in the Hills village officials who attended the Illinois Municipal League Conference in Chicago has reimbursed taxpayers for the expense.

Trustee Ray Bogdanowski, a Board member since 2001, paid his own way.

The cost of his attendance was $701.40.

Using his credit card cost him an extra $16.48.

The issue arose when the Daily Herald listed amounts various municipalities spent on the annual convention.

Also attending the event were Village President Russ Ruzanski, Clerk Crystal Ulen, Trustees Bob Huckus, Steve Harlfinger, Suzanne Artinghelli, David McPhee, plus Administrator Jennifer Clough and Assistant Administrator Shane Johnson.
