War Chest After Debate Victory is $500,000 Bigger Thanks to Donation From Conservative Lake Forest Businessman Richard Uihlein
Jeanne Ives came out the victor in the Tribune debate against Governor Rauner for the Republican primary.

Jeanne Ives sent the following email looking for donations from supporters:
The choice is yours.
We can choose to go down the same path of betrayals and broken promises… or we can choose to fight for the future Illinois deserves.
On March 20, I will be challenging Bruce Rauner for the Republican nomination for governor to put the people of Illinois back in charge.
I don’t have the Chicago bosses bankrolling my campaign. I don’t have the D.C. special interests cutting checks for me in exchange for under-the-table deals. And I don’t want them.
The only person I want on my team is YOU.
So today, I’m asking you to make a grassroots contribution before the March primary to put the people of Illinois back in charge of our own future.
Bruce Rauner promised us a political revolution that would clean up Chicago, revive our economy, and restore the rule of law.
But Rauner failed to understand that political revolutions aren’t led by the candidate. They’re led by YOU.
And that’s what our grassroots campaign is all about. People like you. People who have been silenced and shunned. People who feel helpless in our current system. People who simply know that we deserve better.
Your grassroots contribution today will ignite a real political revolution — led NOT by big money or string-pullers in D.C. — but, instead, by you.
State Rep. Jeanne Ives
Conservative Candidate for Governor of Illinois
